Alassiel · 6 September 2009 · Chapter 1
Dear Ellie, This is one of those stories which it is hard to review—because it is so evocative and beautiful. It combines many things which touch my heart—healing, the power of play, the beauty of a lake at night and even the smell and taste of cool water, which has always reminded me of moonlight. The remembrance of the festival of Telperion was lovely. I am glad that these vigilant and often sorrowful warriors were given a time of respite and unsullied joy. By the way, I also love Loreena McKennitt’s rendition of Yeats’ poem. Blessings, Alassiel

I realised I never answered this review here though I did answer your email. Sorry about that! I am so happy that the story touched you so. It means a lot to me to hear this. I bellieve I achieved the effects I had hoped to with the imagery and imitation of Yeats' style. Thansk so very very much for reading and for telling me what the story meant to you. Sending you many hugs!
