After leaving Bag End, Bilbo travelled to Dale and Erebor before settling down in Imladris, where he remained a guest until Elrond took ship. A kind of sequel to “Mathom” and “All that is Gold…” a very belated birthday story for The Karenator and an early one for Dot; with spiders, ghosts, Mirkwood elves, rangers and whatnot.
