Guess we'll call it teenage angst now

I just love Merry in this and I like you version of these events very much.

Pippin was so cute! Love the retelling of the fishing expedition. Poor Merry though...all stressed out there in the beginning, but he used his secret knowledge well all those years later. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Poor Bilbo, not realizing (or perhaps not choosing to realize from Merry's words and demeanor) that he'd been caught in the moment of donning the Ring by Merry, and thus setting the stage for this young cousin realizing just what it is that is being hidden! Love the determination Merry shows as well as the lengths he'll go to in order to learn what he feels he must. I suspect he was being inspired.... Heh!
