Well, it's angst so of course it's sad :) Glad you love it though. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Ah, yes. I've never really tried to imagine what exactly the temptation of the Ring was, but now I think it must have been pretty much like what you show here. Very insightful story.

Thank you very much! I am honored that you would think it accurate. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Very powerful. The battle is all internal, and we only see little glimpses of it in the books, through Sam's eyes. Frodo is so strong, up to the very end. My heart bleeds for him, thinking of how hard he fought until he finally broke.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed, if such word could be used for this. What a terrible battle it was - I couldn't bear to think more of it. He's a inspiration to all of us because we must fight the same battle. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Ah--definitely the Ring WANTS him to give up or yield to It. Alas for Frodo!

Author's reply

Indeed, but what grace and endurance to fight it as long as he did. We should all be so lucky. Our beloved was not named Bronwe athan Harthad for nothing! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A powerful and vivid piece, one of your best yet. The Ring's seductive voice rings very true.:) ~~~~{~@

Thank you, dear! So nice of you to stop by! I am glad you think it accurate. Poor Frodo and this was but a few moments of that torment, all I could bear. *hugs you both* I hope to read more of your stories soon! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
