Hello Linda - (yes, me again),
So I found your lovely mushroom fic sooner than I expected. Good for Aragorn serving mushrooms at his birthday feast and not letting on until everyone had eaten & admired the dishes! Imrahil was a bit of a snob about them at the start, but I'm glad he changed his mind - he is a reasonable fellow after all!
And how very Merry & Pippin to go along with Strider's subterfuge at the feast. I'll bet they had no end of fun (or mushrooms) in the royal kitchens when planning the many courses...
Thank you for pointing me to this delightful wee fic, I have enjoyed it muchly.
Maureen :)

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm delighted you enjoyed this.I fear I rarely write Hobbits, but the Hobbit Muses appeared when I was given "mushrooms" as a prompt!I can just imagine Merry and Pippin enjoying following Aragorn's instructions and telling the cook how to make all the dishes!

Good lord, what kind of civilized country doesn't eat mushrooms? Thank goodness they have hobbits - and Elessar- to straighten them out! It's no wonder Denethor was so cranky.

Sneaky to have mushrooms put in that way, but very clever so people could enjoy something before learning what it was.
Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

That was sweet and amusing in all the right places. Poor Imrahil. I wonder if will have the whole of Dol Amroth eating mushrooms now?
Thanks for sharing.

Lovely! Indeed, many times we "don't like" a food when in actuality we've never even tasted it. (Although I never did enjoy mushrooms, myself!) :)

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed my story.I admit I often don't "like" what I've not tried! Whatever would the Hobbits say that you don't share their love of mushrooms LOL?

My love of mushrooms is one thing that convinces me that i was meant to be a hobbit! That, and my size of course!
