Feel free to rewrite this scene as many times as you like, Linda--your work is always fresh and lovely. Poor Aragorn must not have felt very victorious after the battle. The cost in lives would only buy them a little time. Yet I love how you show how healing Faramir lifts his spirits and fills him with hope. Thank you for sharing this.

I very much liked your insights to Aragorns thoughts here. And the trust that comes so easily when Faramir responds to his call.

A very poignant one shot. It must have conforted Aragorn to find a kindred spirit like Faramir on the day he lost another one in Halbarad. I like the way you highlighted that here.

The Dark Lord shall not have this son of Westernsee. I claim him as mine own! That's just beautiful.
