Ah, this was delightful, Mari! Like all of your drabbles they don't feel rushed for words like mine sometimes do, but what I really like is how each drabble moved the story forward, and each told us something new about Pippin.

Aw, lovely. Gandalf bedtime stories, indeed. And Merry, healer's apprentice. D'y'know, the only thing I might add would be a glimpse of Beregond, swapping troll jokes with Pippin. He'd've been recovering there, too! And all the while in the back of my mind I'm thinking of Frodo and Sam, not far away, in their healing sleep. Did perhaps a smile cross Frodo's sleeping face, hearing a hobbity peal of laughter in his dreams? (and if it's not too much of a liberty, I might add a drabble or two to my own pile and, if you allow, put in a link to this?) Weather aches... heat wave on the way, here. Looking forward to the weather aches of the cooling down again.

What sweet, cousiny moments! I love these little glimpses into Pippin's recovery and also Merry's reactions through it all. Lovely :)

Oh those are too sweet! Especially Merry with that sobby kiss and the Pip/Gandalf scene and ... actually all of them. You should write maaaaany more of this! :)

Glad Merry didn't resist giving his cousin that kiss - everyone needs some TLC! And that he took it so well that his leg would not heal completely. That's our Pippin! Sweet little glimpses. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Oh, I loved all of them!! My favourites (besides all of them) were the one of Merry tucking Pippin into bed and the last one, where Merry rubbed salve into his beloved cousin's knee. Brilliant stories -- I'm sure there's more from where these came from. ;-)

Well, Merry was an herbalist of note, after all! Wonderful group of ficlets, Marigold. It must have been difficult for him recovering from such a serious injury. And I'm glad kingsfoil grows near the High Hay. That goes right along with me imagining Buckland as the area of the Royal City of Cardolan! Heh!

I loved them all but this part is my favorite because I do think it is so very like Pippin. (Aragorn tucked Pippin’s blankets tighter, smiling at the lad. “Well, I don’t know Merry’s uncle, but you’ll certainly give him competition. I am sorry Pippin.” “Don’t be, Strider. You saved my leg, the ache will remind me.” Of that, and other things… ) It shows how he always see the positive in everything and how very much he loves his friends. These were wonderful. I am always so happy when you write! And Cormallen too! (big grin)

How I love it when Gandalf shows how much he cares for 'his hobbits'. But I love this most of all: "You saved my leg, the ache will remind me.” For Pippin, truly, the glass is half full, and always will be. There can never be enough gentle, hobbity Cormallen fic! :)

Oh, Marigold, this is wonderful! These are such great little glympses of Pippin as he recovers. I especially loved the bits about fortelling the weather, and Gandalf tucking Pippin in. That one especially sweet. I would love to see you do more of these.
