Aww! Sweet! :) But the lads' most enduring discovery that winter turned out to be something more lasting and precious than any fragile snowflake. It appeared that friendship -- like magic -- could sometimes be found in the least expected places. You had only to look for it. I love it! :) God bless, Galadriel

Friendship and snow - truly beautiful things. I just wish we had some of the snow too and not just fog, fog and more fog! *gropes way across the room to shut the window.* Which reminds me, I must re-read your barrow-downs story! Hope this festive season finds you well and happy.

Oh, how lovely! This is barely over an hour posted and i get to be the first to review. Oh, those clever dwarves! Writers are able to insert any number of clever, useful gadgets into Middle Earth by giving them to the Dwarves. ...our secret? I knew that was a secret too good to keep. I like the beautiful descriptive language describing what they are looking at. and..."is it some kind of elven magic?" No, Sam, just magic from The One who created the elves. The friendship shared by those two had to have been nurtured by many small experiences shared over time. This is a look at one such crystalline moment.
