This is such a lovely story - I've always felt that Merry and his mother had a strong bond and it was moving to see this moment - for her to finally have her son back after such a long time. Beautiful!

Being an only child with such a wonderful nature, I'm sure Merry had a very strong bond with both of his parents. It must have been a very special moment for both mother and son.

Can you imagine how happy Esmeralda must have been to finally have her only son home? And now Merry can start to heal as well.
