And what has our dear Elf managed to kipe from the troll? A key, perhaps, from a pocket, or a knife, maybe? The trees must be most upset to find a wood Elf captured in such a manner, and maybe they'll be willing to aid Legolas. I hope.
Author's reply
One of your guesses is right. (I know you know by now which one.) I agree with you. The trees may well play a part later on.

Catching back up.
An awful torture, I think, and I hope that they figure a way to escape soon.
Nasty trolls--nasty trolls!
Author's reply
Welcome back.
That was kind of a cruel thing to do to them, wasn't it? They are sure going to try.
Very nasty trolls.!

Ooops! Just when you want thick trolls along comes one with an iota of imagination!
Author's reply
I wish I could reveal what was really going on, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the next chapter. :o)

A cliffie.
I am beginning to think that I dislike them a lot.
Are you sure you uploaded the whole chapter? LOL
Author's reply
You didn't like my cliffiie? Yes, that's the whole chapter. :o) I hope you liked the rest of it.

Yes a less than nimble Legolas is worrying indeed but what has he seen/found? Blood? Intriguing!
Author's reply
As you might expect, I can't reveal anything yet. The next chapter will tell you what you want to know.

Does he or doesn't he, have the keys that is or a weapon. A weapon would be nice.
Will Treco make an appearance? He could at least keep the trolls occupied while our heroes escape. Keep the chapters coming quickly.
Author's reply
I can't answer that just yet. The next chapter will.
No Treco this time, though his appearance would be most welcome to our elf and ranger. More soon.

Ouch, ouch, ouch.
I cannot possibly wait until the next chapter. :P
Author's reply
Yes, let's give our guys some hugs.
Sure you can. It wont' be that long in coming.

Good thinking on how to communicate. Now if they can only get put into the same cage. Dead meat can't be too appealing. Unless that is the Troll's way of tenderizing their meat. Are they or aren't they unconscious, only the author knows for sure. Keep the updates coming quickly. How many chapters will this be? Waiting impatiently for the next installment.
Author's reply
Thank you. I'm glad you didn't think it was funny, which had me a little worried. I didn't want to detract from the dialogue.
I had thought of the tenderizing bit. I even mentioned it to a friend of mine, though it was not said seriously. They just like to torture anything that isn't a troll. :o) I am the only one that knows if our guys are faking or not..
I don't know yet how many chapters there will be. It depends on how things develop. More will be coming soon.

Ouch.
The part when they were communicating was smart.
Now...are they really unconscious, or just faking it?
Author's reply
Ouch indeed. I was kind of worried that the musical conversation might come off as comical and take away from the diaglogue itself. I'm glad you didn't think so.
Ah well, you know I can't answer that just yet. Stay tuned. :o)

At least thet are getting water to keep them going. Great start to this White Wolf.

It's for sure the water will be better than the food. :o) Thank you. Glad you like it so far.

A new story. Yay!! No, not trolls. They should know with their luck always go around a known trouble spot or expect to get into trouble. I'm glad you updated this quickly. The food sounds truly terrible. Maybe they should tell the trolls they can't eat that kind of food as it would poison them. If they were poisoned they would not make a meal for the trolls as it might poison them too. Keep it coming I await the next chapter anxiously.
Author's reply
You'd think they'd learn their lesson by now. Legolas usually doesn't want to do it, but he always gives in to Aragorn. Bad move. I wanted the food to sound really bad. I'm not sure the trolls would care much, if they even believed they could be poisoned by such puny captives.
I'll update soon.

Black rabbit? Sounds pretty awful to me. Hope they get something better soon, myself. And Pickett sounds like the right one to have guard them at the moment--they may have a chance with him in time.
Author's reply
I tried to make the food as awful as I could. I'm not sure the trolls will feed our guys now, but we can hope. Pickett was picked because he is young and stupid and not good for much more than guard duty. With luck and cunning, Legolas and Aragorn can use that to their advantage.

Hmm...intersting start.
Though I wonder how they're going to outwit these trolls.
This story is still holding my interest strongly--though I wish you would update a little more often :P
Author's reply
Thank you. I'm sure they're wondering the same thing. :o) Glad you are still interested. I update as often as I can. RL has to be dealt with. *sigh*

OMGoodness!
A start of a new story...and a good one at that.
I've always enjoyed your stories.
update soon-trolls, after all, are stupid creatures, and i hope the twosome can get out soon.
Author's reply
Yes, another adventure. Thank you. I'm glad you like my work.
These particular trolls are not quite as dumb as we might like them to be. I have the feeling our guys may be stuck for a while. That, of course, will mean more story. :o)

They obviously haven't heard Sam's famous "Stone Troll" poem, have they?
Foolish, to wish to save time by placing themselves in such danger of capture. But these trolls apparently are protected under the thick trees, or so it would appear. Or do only mountain trolls turn to stone in daylight?
Author's reply
No, I don't think they've read that one.
They were thinking they could ourtun the trolls, but then we have to have an adventure, don't we? :o) These trolls do not turn to stone, and you will soon see that they don't stay only in the forest.
