Ohhh, such dedicated Rangers, and such a compassionate chieftain! :D

One of the things that makes me such a Dunedain fan girl is their dedication; there aren't enough people like that in the world.

I don't blame the young ranger for sitting there moping. Spring rain is just so wet. Still, it was kind of Aragorn to make his point gently.
Good twist to make Aragorn the second man, just after the first had been thinking about his beloved, making me see Arwen!

For the last month it has been pouring on and off, and often I went to school soaked. I wrote this after one of those rainy days... they really are not fun at all, and I at least had an umbrella! One must really feel bad for those rangers.

I read this at another site. It gets better the second time around, the third, the fourth....... Very cute and refreshing!

I guess you read it at fanfiction.net; I posted it there first. Thank you very much ^^

Oh, good. I was hoping you'd post here. The other site is giving me fits. I really liked Aragorn getting one over on Prince Imrahil here.

FF.net can be a pain, can't it? But nevertheless, I still post there... some odd addiction to the site, I guess. But thanks for the review here as well ^^

Great little story. I'm laughing along with that guard. Aragorn does come to fatherhood rather late in life, doesn't he? I'm glad you are posting these stories--looking forward to more!

Yea, he does! I'm thinking around mid-90s... dang, most people are dead by then. Lucky Numenorean... *grumbles* Anyways, thank you! I have many more planned ^^

He could not stand her gaze; it was just as beautiful as her mother’s and just as commanding as her father’s. She got the best out of both of them.
Poor Imrahil! No one will stand a chance against such a formidable weapon as that girl's gaze. What fun! I wish them well on their quest.
:D

Scary enough, many children seem to have this gaze... I used such a gaze on my parents when I was younger XD Being the child of Aragorn and Arwen makes it 100 times worse ;)

Ahh. How sweet. I'm not surprised Eleniel managed to harness Aragorn and Imrahil to help her find her d.... Elwen.
(And I'm not surprised the guard laughed. Though perhaps he should have waited until two of the three most powerful lords of Gondor were out of hearing.)
Author's reply
Small children tend to have powerful influence over adults, even great men such as Aragorn and Imrahil. It's kind of creepy, actually... I remember using that trick myself as a child XD
Hmm, perhaps he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree xD
