Enjoyed this chapter very much. Love the way Pippin just turns up in Frodo's room knowing he'll be welcome. I also laughed at Frodo's worries that the bed might not hold Pippin's weight.
Author's reply
Pippin will always be welcome, don't you think? He needs to be there to cheer Frodo up!

I am so far behind! RL haa kept me from reading much lately but I enjoyed this chapter very much. The kitten is just too adorable! Frodo's sad momnets are do well done and show what is to come in his future. So like Pippin not to wait for other before starting a meal. LOL

How can I love this story more? Its soo dear! I think all regret that Fro had to leave for the havens in the end has washed away. This is such a good story!
The part about the spider really got me, oh and the part about Fro remembering comforting Sam as a hobbit-lad after a nightmare. *Sniffle*
You do write Frodo and Sam soo well!

Yes, there must always be a bachelor party the night before the wedding. :) Glad we got a peep--that doesn't often happen. Oh dear, but I am worried about Frodo's appetite. That's not right for a Hobbit, not at all. :(
The wedding was so lovely! Violet does indeed seem perfect for Brend. :)
And the end of this chapter was such a joy, to see Frodo, for a moment, the comforter. Beautiful, mellon nin!
God bless,

SO glad you liked it! I was thinking I needed another chapter before the wedding, and that just popped out. I wasn't sure how it would work, but I'm glad you liked it! I love seeing Frodo comforting others too!

Come home from the war, try to rebuild the life, have to deal with all the questions and odd looks and irrational fears. *sigh* Oh, poor Frodo. The spider thing even shocked me. Just standing there and then suddenly he's shouting, and it's just a little black spider. But it makes sense. You do this very well. I can't wait for more!
God bless,
Galadriel
Author's reply
*blushes* thanks! The spider thing.... I have an irrational fear of spiders, and I haven't ever been attacked by one. That just kind of popped into my head, and I didn't realise it until I'd written it! Poor Frodo indeed *Sighs with you* Thank for reviewing!

Yea, another chapter! I love it! Especially about the spider and Sam comforting him and I'm glad he said flat out, you need to be taken care of. That must have taken some guts to admit the loss of the Ring was worse than the loss of his parents, but I'm glad Frodo's got enough confidence to do that, that he knows he's still going to be loved to death no matter what.
Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Thanks for your enthusiasm! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! This is one of my favorite chapters so far, and I'm glad to see that you pointed out all my favorite parts! Of course Frodo will always be loved, and not only by his friends, but by all of us!

My dear Frodo, your story was read and much appreciated! Thanks for writing. Of course your Sam would understand that you would need to get it out. I wish that was all you needed to do to exorcise your demons, but Iluvatar had a better plan for you.

Oh if only that was the way it happened, then he could stay in the Shire and be happy and laugh as much as we wanted him too! But I do think Iluvitar planned it for a purpose.

Hail, Elanor! Heh, Ahhh, these 4 chapters were soo beautiful, peaceful and homely! I really loved reading them mellon-nin! Now, who does Wanderer remind me of? Is it Goldberrys younger cat Pippin??? I can't put my finger on it! Who did you use as your insperation for the furry star? He is such a cutsie!
I loved that you wrote about Frodo starting his book and loving it! So happy that he has found such a *perfect* hobby! :) I feel I must say Hannon le for your work that gives me this great time of reading! Luv & God bless! ~Arwen

Glad you liked them!! Honestly I didn't even think of Pippin's scrunchie chasing until after I wrote this... funny thing, though, I did base Wanderer on Gold's cat. Glad you like him! Oh, there's so much to love in these chapters! I wish I could review each one separately, but my time to read and write is limited lately, much more than I'd like.
So, Wanderer likes hair ribbons, does he? :) It's cute that he's been destroying them, and yet Rosie is still on the verge of laughing at him. I think this kitty might just have something in common with our favourite Took...:)
And I love how the nightmares are described, and how Frodo's subconscious insecurity is revealed in his dreams. Very true to life.
Ooo! Are we invited to Brend's wedding, too? Pretty please? :)
God bless,

Author's reply
Oh that's quite all right! I understand the whole time issue... Yes, Wanderer loves hair ribbons! lol! he's a mischievous little rascal, that's for sure, he must be a Took cat! Lol. I'm glad you thought that part was realistic, I wasn't too sure.
And yes, everyone is invited to Brend's wedding, he'd be very happy to see you there!!!

Poor Frodo, I hate that feeling of being so exhausted and yet unable to sleep. I've come to joke at such times that I'm too tired to sleep. But glad he could comfort Pip, and so glad Pippin is beginning to show interest in Diamond. I also love Frodo's advice to him on the matter. Very wise, mellon nin!

"When he grows up he may leave me alone more."
You can't hide anything, Frodo. :) You might not own it, but we all know you love having Wanderer so attached to you! :) Very cute!
And I'm still giggling over this line:
Aragorn nods, and I can see he's thankful I didn't explain exactly how we are related. He's heard enough of that from Merry and Pippin already.
LOL! Yeah! I get lost after "fourth cousin," and I don't even get the removed thing.
