Antane · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 29: Another Wedding

Finally!!! And I don't just mean Sam and Rosie marrying either! :) Hope the muse gives you more ideas soon! Ah, hobbity love... Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author's reply

I am hoping as well! I think I have an idea for what I'll do next, I'm just not sure how to go about it. (that and I'm working on an original novel at the moment, and my ideas keep getting mixed up between stories! Lol) Glad you liked it! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 29: Another Wedding

Weddings and couples forming, and Frodo realizing he's happy for them. So glad this was joyful for him.

Author's reply

Me too! I love seeing Frodo happy. Too bad there isn't more of that, huh? God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 September 2006 · Chapter 28: Meetings

A sweet moment of reassurance for both of them. Dear Sam, needing reassurance and wanting to give it as well.

Larner · 31 August 2006 · Chapter 27: Troubles

I am so glad that he sees Frodo as standing by him as his brother. It's too bad he wasn't closer to Hal and Ham, perhaps, but the love is there, and the understanding. And am glad that Frodo has this distraction as he needs it.

Author's reply

I've always seen Frodo and Sam as brothers, even though they're not related. I think he's close with his brothers as well, but in a different way. Frodo needs all the distractions he can get! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 30 August 2006 · Chapter 27: Troubles

Aw, I love Ellis already, and I'm so glad Frodo's going to teach him! Sam is certainly right: Frodo needs it as much as Ellis does. Poor boy! those ruffians were so cruel! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

I'm sooo glad you like Ellis! He just came to me at the last minute, and I HAD to put him in! Don't you just hate ruffians? *grr* God bless, Ellie P.S. Happy birthday! I hope you had a great time!

Antane · 29 August 2006 · Chapter 27: Troubles

So 'the best hobbit in all the Shire' is really going to be 'best hobbit' at the wedding! That's a sweet idea. I do love Frodo so, but I think at the very least it's a tie between Sam and Frodo as to who the best was. And wouldn't it fun to be taught by Frodo! I hope he can recover some of his self-esteem this way. He's in such desperate need to regain some self-worth. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author's reply

Definately! I think I like Frodo the most, but you can't have him without Sam, can you? I want to be taught by Frodo too! I'm not entirely sure where it's going yet, but I do know Ellis will be good for Frodo. God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 23 August 2006 · Chapter 26: Engagement

Awww, sweet chapter! So Sam finally did it! Yea! Frodo ought to know he needn't worry; his Sam always just knows when something's wrong, and the one love doesn't take the place of the other, by any means, only adds to the joy and richness of Sam's life. And even Wanderer is more relaxed since Sam moved in. :) "I told you there was hope for everyone, Frodo Baggins." Wonderful ending! Can't wait for more and I'm so glad you're back! Look for a new "gift" in the collection soon for you! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

About time, don't you think? I love the way you described it, "only adds to the joy and richness of Sam's life." Glad you liked it! I probably won't have another chapter till monday, I'm working out some of the kinks with the story line *grabs pen and starts working* Something for me??? *wonders what it is* God bless, Ellie

Goldberry Apple Blossom · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 6: Yule

Hey Ellie! well that all whent by quickly! i'm glad that you were able to spend time away from soa and give the time to further your relationship with God. I will see you soon and God bless. glad to see your back Gold

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 20: The Wedding

Yes, the nightmares would bother all of them. Poor Sam.

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 19: The Night Before

The phantom pain is definitely a possibility. Too bad Frodo can't also find a love.

Author's reply

Too bad indeed. I've heard alot about phantom pains from wounds like that, and I thought the idea intreaging (sp). God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 18: Past Memories

The small spider has brought back large memories, I see. Note: Sam was born the year Drogo and Primula died.

Author's reply

Another thing I must change! *hurries away to change* My mind gets twisted in circles when I try to figure out dates, so this was a bit jumbled. *shudders at thought of spiders* God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 17: Good News

Yes, a good wedding to hearten all.

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 16: The Sea

And in a way it is the sacrifice of his life that's required in the end.

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 15: Writing Plans

A wonderful beginning he's making, and at least he doesn't have kitten-induced blotches.

Author's reply

*Teehee* I'd never thought of that! *giggles* Kittens and ink... God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 14: Of Conspiracies and Kittens

It's good to be alone again (almost), but probably a bit frightening not to have the others around, too.

Author's reply

Hard when you only feel you can talk to certain people and those are the ones who aren't around all the time. God bless, Ellie

Larner · 22 August 2006 · Chapter 13: Home Again

Now, I like that! I'd not thought of how Hobbit beds might react to Pippin's new height.

Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 12: Luck at Last

When your King is also your healer, it makes it even more important to obey him! Heh!

Author's reply

*heh* Indeed! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 11: What Happened Next

Now, THAT was quick work! I wonder about washing a horse at Yule, as it seems to me it would be awful cold for that activity. Glad the rumors are so easily quashed.

Author's reply

He didn't wash him entirely, just a quick rub down to get rid of mud. Hate rumors! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 10: Breakfast

My cats have also often felt their side is wherever I intend to sleep. This feels familiar! (GRINNING)

Author's reply

Heh! I don't have cats, wish I did. I have little dogs, and they tend to take up half of my bed and nearly push me off the edge! I love animals, they're so snuggly! God bless, Ellie
