Very cute! I loved it when Aragorn told Eldarion to ask his mother how old SHE was! Bwa ha ha ha ha!

So so so cute! Just the perfect thing for a little light reading. haha I guess Arwen has reason for not wanting to tell her age, hmm? very cute! Great job!

Thank you ^^ I think poor Eldarion would be traumatized to know that his mother is near 3000 years old; I think he is still too young to really grasp the significance of his mom's race, and probably does not look to her as an elf, but just as his mom :)

LOL at Arwen trying to explain to her son how old she is! Eldarion is adorable, and very much his father's son. Cute story.

Thank you very much, and thanks for granting posting priveleges ^^

Definitely a delightful piece of fluff here. Lovely to see Eldarion so like his father! Not that having Arwen as his mother wouldn't also allow him enhanced sneaking abilities, of course. Thanks so much!

Author's reply

Thanks, Larner! And naturally Eldarion inherited some elven abilities, though I think Arwen would deny that his tendency to sneak around came from her ;)

*giggles* Too cute! Eldarion should be a hobbit and Aragorn is just so mischievous! :D

Author's reply

Thanks, Iorhael! I can imagine Eldarion getting along very well with hobbits, though I do believe that at this point of time they would be too old to bounce on Aragorn's chest. But their kids, though... ;)

Aragorn's lucky he got his birthday present after that wisecrack about his beloved's age! A very sweet and natural moment between them. And I Loved Eldarion using Ada as a trampoline.

Author's reply

He should consider himself lucky that he has such a lovely and forgiving wife. My brothers and I have used our dad as a trampoline when we were younger, so it was definitely from experience; I still remember my dad grunting when we pounced him on Christmas morning.

"“Too old,” he replied. “Older than you can count.” Eldarion’s eyes widened. “But your mother is older; ask her how old she is.”" Heeee - I love that paragraph! The rest of the vignette is cute, sweet, and funny.

Author's reply

That section seems to be a favorite among readers. Anyways, thank you, Raksha!

That's very cute! I hope the nanny keeps Eldarion away for a while. I had to laugh at that crack about Arwen's age.

Author's reply

Thank you! One can only imagine how busy Eldarion keeps the nanny. ;)

“Happy birthday, ada!” squealed Eldarion, throwing himself on his father’s chest This is utterly adorable. Aragorn deserves a happy life, and lots of love and laughter.

Author's reply

Thank you, shirebound! After all of his struggles (and all I put him through), I felt it was high time to put in some happiness ^^
