Reconciliation

by Larner

A sequel of sorts to "The Acceptable Sacrifice." There was great hurt given to Captain Peregrin Took by his father the last time Pippin visited the Great Smial from Crickhollow. Sir Meriadoc Brandybuck, on the other hand, hasn't been properly forthcoming to his parents about his experiences, and they've felt pressed to the ends of their abilities to understand. And the Lord Samwise Gamgee must come to terms with the loss of his beloved Master and with the fact he is now himself Master of Bag End and heir to all Frodo had and might have had, done and might have done. The time for reconciliation has come . For Kitty and Dreamflower, who asked for this.
