Aragorn did end up finding out what was in that pocket during the Council of Elrond, didn't he? I just love to picture the two of them having been friends.

Thanks for your comments. These short scenes are not always the easiest to write, but I feel I'm getting better at them. Your comments are very much appreciated. And I do like the idea of Bilbo and young Estel being friends. I think they would have gotten along quite well.
