Larner · 29 August 2007 · Chapter 26: Scars

Now, this casual pride in scars would take some getting used to for our beloved gardener, I think. A foreshadowing, however, of scars that DID almost lead to death, though.

Antane · 29 August 2007 · Chapter 28: Protect Me

Oh, my dear, wow! That is so wonderful and angsty and loving and all that good stuff! Bravo! I'll be adding that to my website when I next update it! :) You should do a response to it also - Frodo may have seen himself as Sam's protector but I know Sam's *always* seen himself as Frodo's protector. A sequel would be so cool? Pretty please with plenty of mushrooms on top! Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

Antane · 29 August 2007 · Chapter 26: Scars

Just smile and nod, Sam, just smile and nod. :) Ah, the happy innocence and celebration of scars that would heal before the scars on the soul would come. Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

Antane · 29 August 2007 · Chapter 27: Airsoft

Yea! You posted it! You already know all my favorite parts and I hope others get a kick out it too! Aragorn should have known not to go hunting with hobbits! :) Love it! Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

shirebound · 29 August 2007 · Chapter 26: Scars

Boys will be boys! This reminds me of that scene in "Forever Young" where wee!Elijah takes off his bandaid to show off a gash to a young girl (who turns rather green herself). :)

Larner · 2 June 2007 · Chapter 25: Allergies

Getting drunk on allergy medicine, eh? Okay. Good thing I usually rely only on tablets1 Heh! Poor Frodo--getting problems two ways for the price of one!

Author's reply

Lol! Yeah! Long story... I'm so glad I don't have to take my allergy medicine any longer, though! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 2 June 2007 · Chapter 25: Allergies

*snort* *giggles* Oh, that's hysterical! Poor Frodo, LOL! Why does it sound slightly familiar, I wonder...LOL! “Yes, sir. I’ve handled enough drunk hobbits before,” he says, smiling mischievously at me. *grins* That is just like Sam! I still don’t know what was so funny though. Oh well, I suppose that’s for another story. Hahaha! Perfect way to end! I love it! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

Lol! Yeah, I wonder... well, just let Frodo and Eleon know it was all their fault to begin with! *grins* Glad you liked it! I wonder what Frodo will say... God bless, Ellie

shirebound · 2 June 2007 · Chapter 25: Allergies

My hand misses the mug and I glare at it, thinking about telling it to stay put Sweet silliness, Elanor! :)

Author's reply

I'm glad you liked it! I had such fun writing it! God bless, Ellie

harrowcat · 2 June 2007 · Chapter 25: Allergies

A nice giggle to sneak into at work. Thanks Elanor.

Author's reply

You're welcome! I'm glad it made you giggle! *grins* God bless, Ellie

elisabethlu · 20 May 2007 · Chapter 14: For Love

hey elanor, I posted new chapters of Elisabeth-Lu on Faith Writers! I'm now just calling it "Ridiculous"...the other was to much of a mouthful. ;) I really like your story "For Love", I love LOTR fanfiction!!!!! TTYL, elisabethlu from FW

Antane · 8 April 2007 · Chapter 23: The Voice

Don't listen, Frodo! Don't believe it! Your resolve will destroy it, not your friends and though it is trying so hard to claim you, it cannot win forever for Another has claimed you first. When I first heard the voice that Sam argues with on the BBC Radio adaptation, I thought, that's how the devil sounds. He speaks here too. Oh, dear Elanor, I have looked forward to more of your stuff after my Fast. Happy Easter! Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Frodo Baggins · 23 March 2007 · Chapter 25: The Pirates of Bag End

*howling with laughter* That was very funny! But why does Frodo have to be evil? JK. Jack sparrow, hm? The third Pirates of the carribean is coming out in may! Same with Spider Man 3, which is on my calendar. :) LOL! See you! Namarie! Yours, Frodo Baggins,

Author's reply

*grins* Well see, among my friends, I'm Frodo, see, and we have Pirates nicknames as well, and they all dubbed me James Norrington, therefore... Yeah, this story is based on real events. This is what happens when my Sam and I aren't being hobbits. (She has a friend who does act exactly like Jack, it's soo funny! She's really good at it too.) YAY! May!! We're dressing up to see P3. Spider Man is coming out then too!? I did NOT know that!! *goes to look up movie dates* I love Spider Man! :) Talk to you later, mellon nin! God bless, Ellie

harrowcat · 21 March 2007 · Chapter 25: The Pirates of Bag End

Oh this is a lot of fun Elanor. Just the grin I needed this morning. P.s. Sorry I've missed reviewing your writing - I am reading and enjoying as usual but RL is squeezing reviewing time.

Author's reply

Glad I could make you smile, harrowcat! Oh, I know what you mean! RL has pushed nearly all my writing time aside! *groans* But I'm glad you're enjoying my work! God bless, Ellie

Larner · 20 March 2007 · Chapter 25: The Pirates of Bag End

I see I'm not the only one importing scenes from other universes here. Hilariously done.

Author's reply

Thanks! I had such fun writing this! I read your story as well, though I haven't commented yet. I thought it was histerical! I haven't read HP, but I've heard so many conflicting ideas about it, that I decided (whilst reading over reviews to your story) That I would just read it myself, and make up my own mind about it. *grins* God bless, Ellie

Larner · 20 March 2007 · Chapter 23: The Voice

Oh, how I can see the Ring using just these arguments. And the horror of knowing the last of his integrity is being leeched away like that! Alas, our poor Frodo. Good use of voice here.

Queen Galadriel · 20 March 2007 · Chapter 25: The Pirates of Bag End

ROTFL!! *wipes mirthful tears from eyes* Hahahahahaha! Too cute, Ellie, just too cute! The Hobbits of the Carivian! LOL! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

LoL! *grins* Glad you liked it! I had such fun writing it, as all of it was from personal experience, this is what me and my Sam do when we aren't being hobbits... *blushes* God bless, Ellie

shirebound · 20 March 2007 · Chapter 25: The Pirates of Bag End

Hobbits of the Caribbean! *giggles* How adorable.

Author's reply

*grins* Glad you think so! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 13 March 2007 · Chapter 23: The Voice

*tears* Oh, Ellie, I've already just bawled and everything over "Joy", now you make me want to do it again! :) How sad and angsty! But I just love the style. Very vivid, very...wow! Yeah, I'm poor with words right now. But you have the voices down perfectly, especially Frodo's! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

Oh, I'm sorry mellon nin! *gives you box of kleenex* I keep it handy when I read "Joy" *grins* I'm glad you like it! God bless, Ellie

Frodo Baggins · 13 March 2007 · Chapter 23: The Voice

Oo! Chilling. that was excellent, though. Hantanyel, Eleanor Silmarien! Namarie, God Bless, Your Frodo

Author's reply

I'm glad you liked it! Chilling.. that's a cool word! *grins* Thank you! God bless, Ellie

harrowcat · 22 February 2007 · Chapter 20: Understanding

And if Sam understands then all is right with the world.

Larner · 18 February 2007 · Chapter 22: Wizards

Well, of COURSE Sam likes him. How could he not? Lovely look at a burgeoning friendship.

Author's reply

*grins* Who wouldn't like Gandalf? Thanks for reviewing! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 18 February 2007 · Chapter 22: Wizards

*grins* I love stories about young Frodo and Sam (and Merry and Pip and anyone else :)) meeting Gandalf, and this is delightful! God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

I'm glad you like it! It was such fun to write, though Gandalf is a hard character for me to write! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 18 February 2007 · Chapter 21: Tales of Gondor

Oh, I love it! And I can see Frodo loving it, too. So nice that they kept up the tradition after he was gone. *sighs* I miss doing the Challenges. God bless, Galadriel

Author's reply

Glad you liked it! I'm sure Frodo would like that they kept it up after he left. Just imagine all the kinds of stories they would have! Challenges are fun, aren't they? I've been late on all my stories for the last three months, though, cause of school! *blushes* God bless, Ellie

Frodo Baggins · 18 February 2007 · Chapter 21: Tales of Gondor

Aw, that was sweet. *hugs Sam* Good idea about writing down stories they had heard. But they shouldn't keep it Gondor. They should write down tales they heard in other parts of MIddle Earth, as well. Namarie! Your Frodo

Author's reply

So glad you liked it, mellon nin! Ooh! That would be really fun! A collection of stories they heard all over Middle Earth! Wow, what have I gotten myself into? *grins* God bless, Ellie

Antane · 17 February 2007 · Chapter 22: Wizards

So cute, my dear! Love it! And I would like to hear those tales Sam, Merry and Pippin wrote to! But you have plenty of time for that. :) Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

Author's reply

Lol! Yeah, plenty of time! *looks at stack of school books* But you know, I was thinking of writing some of them down and posting them here... would be really interesting, don't you think? Glad you liked these stories! God bless, Ellie
