This is an awe inspiring AU. I love the way you have taken the eight of the Fellowship and added Faramir. What a change just one person can wreak on a situation! The characters are very believable and you have really touched the heart of a lot of what went on in the walker's heads - Aragorn's doubt of his ability as king, Legolas' belief in the trustworthness of man, the hobbits need to protect Frodo but also their worry that they will not be enough. A small platoon beseiged by the loss of their commander in chief, evil orcs and goblins, spine chilling nazguls and yet building tentative relationships and support among themselves. Yes, I know where the book and movie takes the story, but I can't wait until you update again and continue your own story. Please do say you will finish this!

Thanks so much I hereby swear that I will finish this story, it was the lack of planning that is impeding my writing, but I'm gradually forming a structure now. IceAngel

Excellent. 'Tis difficult to sustain a reader's interest over forty chapters, but you have done so! Just one suggestion: reins are the little strips of leather used to guide the horse. reign is the period of time a king or queen governs.

Thanks for the suggestion, my spelling is terrible and I couldn't wait for my beta reader - but I'll repost the good version once she replies Thanks :D

It's wonderful to have new chapters! I feared you never would update. Keep up the good work! I will have to reread the whole story again when I have time.

I know, it took me soo long! I'm sorry, and I'm glad you don't mind the thought of reading it again, that's very encouraging :D IceAngel

I still don't know how you're keeping all this complex action straight! Amazing. I like how Radagast calls Gandalf his "cousin", and Gimli's reaction to Eowyn's beauty. (You might want to correct the spelling of 'Isengard'?)

Ooh Radagast! I'll admit he's intrigued me for a good while now! And oh my gosh Poor Pippin. I worry for him. Also, I have to say that I really love your Sam! He's so perfectly in character. Great chapter!

Helloooooo Iceangel! I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you, thanks for writing me an e-mail! I'm sooo delighted that I have my fanfic "Boromir, Thou Shall Live" on your site! (btw, I'm from Japan, not China *wink*!) Anyway, I'm soooo happy you've updated! If I could, I would give you a big hug! Oh, so Radagast the Brown has shown up... that is pretty cool! I wonder what's in store for the Fellowship though! You've got me all confused, especially about my dear Faramir! Is he going to go to Rohan, or save Gandalf from Saruman's evil clutches, anything could happen! So, it's ok about leaving my review on "Stories of Arda", or fanfiction.net? Either way, I'll post my reviews on both just to make sure you know I'm still your faithful reviewer and friend! Can't wait till the next chapter, keep it comoing!
