Excellent! Thanks for letting me know about this one. It was wonderful to see Tom Bombadil and Farmer Maggot make their appearances, and of course Bilbo, at the end. I really liked the last line too. :)

Thank you so much! Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Tom Bombadil and Farmer Maggot in more stories? The two of them had a special relationship that is interesting to explore. And, of course, Bilbo is always a joy to include. The last line- yes, Frodo certainly did enter the Old Forest again, didn't he?

I came here following a link in Slightly Tookish's LJ and I must say I haven't been dissappointed. This was a wonderful story. It's quite unusual to have Tom Bombadil make an appearance. That makes this story all the more special.
