Oh this story is soooo good! I loved the scene where Elladan, Elrohir and Legolas all met up. Poor Legolas, he had a really rough time didn't he? Keep Writing! <><

A wonderful story, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was totally shocked to disover that the elfling was Legolas... I'm not sure why as I see that many of your other stories are about him. It just snuck up on me! :) Nicely done and I'm off to read some of your other stories.

I read the first version of this story, and was unable to review at the time. When I saw you had revised it, I thought I'd reread and review this time! :-) I love stories about little Legolas (heck, ANY stories about Legolas!) and this is a good one! He's a brave little guy throughout, so polite...until the twins show up and he feels secure enough to cut loose a little. Little hellion indeed! I suppose E2 should know! LOL Anyway, this is so good. One doesn't see too many stories of the child Legolas interacting too much with humans...and the ones that do have him usually not having a good experience. I like it that he had a kind, caring group of humans to come into first contact with. Great story, sheraiah! linda

Oooh - I have been looking for this fic. I lost it from my harddrive and despaired of ever finding it on ff.net. I loved this story - it was so touching. I am so glad I decided to re-read all your stuff. Just one thing - the text sort of extends beyond the screen and one has to scroll to the right to read. Its gets bit annoying. Can you fix it? Fan

How I love this story. I keep coming back to re-read it from time to time.

That was an outstanding story! I really enjoyed reading it and the way you managed to get the reader's affection for the little lost elfling before they even knew who he was was great. (In lots of stories the only reason you like the characters is because you know that they are whoever). Very sweet and liked the details of the child's distress. You made him sound real.

A good read! I liked the way you introduced the characters in the story...it just gave it a more real feel. Pannad is right...little Legolas saw lots of things that little ones shouldn't have to be exposed to. The coping was believable, and captured very well. I was happy when he was reunited with his Ada. : ) --Aranel

An excellent story! Filled with nice little details that to build a complete picture. The story is very well written, too. I especially liked how you handled the accents. Usually when accents are attempted, the characters using them end up sounding like caricatures rather than real people. But I never felt that way with these. Well done.

You captured the fear and the uncertainty of not being able to speak the same language very well. The human family was very loving and very kind, and I was so glad to see Legolas from a wonderful, loving home. I think if I were him, though, I would never have let Elladan and Elrohir leave without me - no matter how nice the family, I'd have been chasing off down the road after their horses and begging to be taken home! Overall, a very nice story.
