I love it, and beg, beg, beg that you finish it. Please. There are so few stories that can capture their dynamic right, and this does. Oh, how it does. Thank you. :)

And I will be your Galadriel. I realize that I have been terrible, terrible and missed this entirely. Too long away from LOTR and most things fandom. I dont know why I'm flitting around here again...just that it feels so wonderfully familiar. :) Thank you very, very, very much. I asked this of you, and then disappeared. I'm sorry. More coherence by the end of it, I think. :) How have you been?
Bodkin · 20 October 2005 · Chapter 2: Cheerful Company
Gorgeous little Celebrian. How Galadriel must have treasured this time - and clever Celeborn, using their daughter to remind her mother of what she has in the here and now. 'Do you need to think more?' What a lovely way to put it! Methinks Galadriel spends a bit too much time thinking - but I'm sure between them Celebrian and Celeborn can distract her.
Author's reply
*cuddles little Bri* I think Galadriel would not have found it hard to have been distracted by her. :)
Bodkin · 20 October 2005 · Chapter 1: Names
I wonder if that's how Celeborn worked his magic on Galadriel - he let her choose to come to him. I think that would be a very effective technique with her. And just goes to prove that Celeborn was indeed 'the Wise'. I do like this!

They are very challenging, the way they circle each other... Thank you for the comments!

When you tell me so, I believe it. The most important ingredient of love: trust. I hope you do more in this series.
Author's reply
I am enjoying ficcing this pairing, and definitely hope to do more too. :)) Thanks for your comments!

Very entertaining and very Sphinx-like. Although, for plain-talkers, they certainly and prettily danced around eachother a bit. ;)
Author's reply
*g* I have hard time getting them to flirt like normal people, I think. ;) Thanks for your comments!

Silver and Gold contemplating a past which seeks to rebuild itself into a worse future, knowing that at the moment they can touch only the Now. Very nice.
Author's reply
Thank you! :))

Mother and child, and child used as a reason for distraction. Very nice.
Author's reply
Cheers! :)
Larner · 17 October 2005 · Chapter 1: Names
Oh, naming and defining, is it--and she would have him so define her? Lovely beginning.
Author's reply
I did wonder about the names for a while - she has so many of them, and the meanings would have to matter to her. :)
daw the minstrel · 17 October 2005 · Chapter 3: Shadows
Galadriel's power must have made painful moments for both of them.
Author's reply
I think it definitely would have challenged their relationship - but then Celeborn seems to like power quite a bit himself. *g* ;)

Once when my son was a preschooler, I had a hard day and burst into tears. My son stroked my hair and said, "Don't worry, Mommy. You still have me." It's a moment I treasure, and I thing Galadriel will treasure this one.
Author's reply
Oh, what a lovely comparison, thank you. :))
daw the minstrel · 17 October 2005 · Chapter 1: Names
That's lovely. Names were important to Tolkien and to the elves, and she had many. This one is beautiful.
Author's reply
Thank you, I'm glad that came across well! :)
