Wow, I really liked this one Silver! How something so 'short' can be so incredibly deep just amazes me. Good Job!

Author's reply

Thank you! *blushing curtsey*

Larner · 2 March 2006 · Chapter 6: Dreadful Dance

Oh, what a wonderful moment of coming to terms with what must be done next! Hooray for Merry the hero!

Author's reply

*seconds the motion* :) Glad you liked it:)

Larner · 2 March 2006 · Chapter 5: Hoping & Watching

The evil of the Black Breath at work, and the one who knows how to call to the heart of HIS Merry.

Author's reply

True friends and brothers are good wardens for each other's souls:)

Larner · 2 March 2006 · Chapter 4: A Little Lesson

You have me giggling--who thought a writing lesson could be erotic? But any lesson offered by such as Frodo would be--special, I think.

Author's reply

*wicked grin* ah, yes, well, there is sensuality in the strangest and most mundane of places in life... The trick is to find it:) Very glad you enjoyed this:)

daw the minstrel · 11 October 2005 · Chapter 3: Perhaps Tomorrow

But at least he was among the elves, and for a hobbit, that's an amazing place to wind up. But you can see age setting in. Sadly, I understand!

Author's reply

Likewise! Glad you enjoyed it:)

daw the minstrel · 11 October 2005 · Chapter 1: Filled With Sun

I admire the way you suggest so much with a few words, SilverMoonLady. The shadows are there, making the sun all the more welcome.

Author's reply

Thanks! Yes, but for the dark, we could not so well love the light!:)

Grey Wonderer · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 3: Perhaps Tomorrow

So very like Bilbo not to realize that he wasn't doing any more traveling or not to like admitting it. I always wished there were more about Bilbo while he stayed in Rivendell.

Author's reply

I have been curious too... Glad you enjoyed this:)

Larner · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 3: Perhaps Tomorrow

Yes, I can see this with an aging Bilbo.

Author's reply

*smile* I knew a Bilbo once... and he was restless too, even when he thought he was content!:)

Larner · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 2: Rash Decisions

A Hobbit Diana, is she? Would like to see this idea developed in a longer tale, and see where you take it.

Author's reply

*grin* Tis on the burner... I really must get back to it and make it into a proper story:) Glad you enjoyed:)

Larner · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 1: Filled With Sun

I love the imagery.

Author's reply

Thank you! It was literally a picture in my head first, and I'm glad it came out in words:)

Dreamflower · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 3: Perhaps Tomorrow

LOL! Quite likely! I could just see this one!

Author's reply

*grin* a familiar feeling I share with the old boy; perhaps tomorrow:)

Dreamflower · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 2: Rash Decisions

Oh my! I feel like this is a bit out of the middle of a story. I want more--what happens next?

Author's reply

*grin* it is actually a teaser-start kind of bit for the follow-up to Diamond In The Storm; really must get back to that... :)

Dreamflower · 15 August 2005 · Chapter 1: Filled With Sun

I remember seeing this somewhere before and thinking it lovely. I was right. It is...

Author's reply

Thank you:) Originally part of a drabble challenge on LJ, which is probably where you saw it...:)
