This was awesome! I laughed really hard, especially at the end when Aragorn was pretending to be Gollum.

Oh my stars! LOL Legolas is *so* dead once Arwen figures out he's responsible for Aragorn's state. Maybe drugging the Kig wasn't such a good idea after all. Wonderful chapter! Now I can go to bed assured of pleasant dreams. :-)

This was an adorable story! Very well done. You are very descriptive, and write quite well!
luinthien · 25 August 2003 · Chapter 8: Taking His Rest
This story is truly delightful! I haven't read another story like this. Very ell done!
Lyn · 24 August 2003 · Chapter 7: Blood Letting
Certainly, one of the funniest stories I've read! I can just picture the two of them. Oh, I'm sure you meant "vial" for the glass bottle of medicine although equally sure that the Kig would say it was quite vile! Excellent! Thank you for sharing it with others. Author Reply: Hi! Thanks for reviewing Sneezes and Swordfights and especially for catching that little "vile/vial" problem! Hee...I discovered I'd done it again in a later chapter that I had not posted yet so I was glad to see you caught it! That error survived me, my beta reader, and apparently everyone over at ff.net! Good eye, I appreciate it! Thanks again for reviewing! Joanna
LKK · 22 August 2003 · Chapter 8: Taking His Rest
wow. What an emotional rollercoaster, this chapter is. First come the hilarious highjinks of elf and kig, then the feel of sweet love, followed by the bitter knowledge of doom foretold, ending with wisdom for the ages. All flowing effortlessly. A wonderfully written chapter!
LKK · 22 August 2003 · Chapter 7: Blood Letting
A sick human is definitely no match for a peeved elf, even if the human is The Kig. Although apparently a peeved elf is no match for an elderly human healer! (I never would have thought that.) Off to watch the next Round between elf and Kig. :-) Author Reply: Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks so much for reviewing, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the story, because it was an incredible amount of fun to write, but it's even more fun hearing that people found reason to be amused by it! Hope you enjoy the rest! joanna
LKK · 20 August 2003 · Chapter 6: In Which The Kig Takes His Own Medicine
Oh! I just noticed the chapter title while starting this review! Too funny. Anyways.... I guess this is going to turn out to an Alternate Universe story, right? There's no way Legolas is going to let him live until the death Tolkien wrote about after the incident with the medicine. ;-) Loved the line about the guards recognizing Arwen as the true authority in the room. Can't wait to read more. Sleep well, Aragorn. ~snicker~
LKK · 20 August 2003 · Chapter 5: House Call
Awww... I don't think it's terribly fair of Arwen to scold both Aragorn AND Legolas. After all, Legolas has every right to be annoyed. He's had to put up with Gondor's absolute worst patient for the last 3 days. I've heard it said that doctors make the worst patients. I guess that's true for healers as well, eh? Love this story & can't wait to read the next chapter. :-)
Miriel · 19 August 2003 · Chapter 6: In Which The Kig Takes His Own Medicine
My poor cat is terrified from the sounds of my laughter. Hysterical!! I love the last line! The vision of Aragorn and Legolas scratching and clawing each other is too funny for words. Wonderful. Cheers!

Omigosh! I've laughed so hard that my side hurts! This is a wonderful, crazy like a loon story that I wish I had read a few days ago when I needed a good laugh. Your writing is so witty and refreshing and so VIVID! I can see Aragorn, complete with lobster face, drippy nose, and lip run out like a spoiled brat. His congested speech is enough to warrant convulsions! What a gem - glittering with light and laughter and my favorite elf Legolas. Can't wait for the next post! Well done. VERY well done! Brenda G.

I have been giggling through this whole story. It is hysterical. I hope that you update soon!
Miriel · 15 August 2003 · Chapter 1: The Nurse
Ha! I like the fact that anyone, even elves, can get angry. (Breaking glass! HA!) Very funny. I'm glad that Legolas managed to escape the terrible fate of having pink ribbons again. Must...go...read...next...chapter.
Orangeblossom Took · 14 August 2003 · Chapter 4: (Very) Hot Soup and Bedtime Stories
ROTFL! "Prehaps it is not so much story and prohpecy..." Hilarious. I can't seem to write humor so I admire those who can. Goodness knows I needed a laugh.
