This was so sweet. I loved the way the art of smoking was passed down from one generation to the next. I also liked the fact that Merry and Pippin were still adventurous enough to teach young Frodo how to smoke without exactly having Sam's blessing. The last bit with Merry remembering the his smoking lessons ties it all together perfectly.

That was wonderfully done! The art of smoking passed on from cousin to cousin and finally to Frodo-lad. I loved it, when Merry and Pippin felt like guilty, mischievous little boys, when Sam found them with his son. Did Pippin at first really "swallow" the smoke?

I had initially another idea (see Merry`s Mushrooms) but the pipe-torch worked out well to I think! *hugs you back* Thanks for giving me the bunny! It`s standing nicely on my desk looking at me with the paper folded in it`s paws and reminding me to sit myself down and write! :D
