Larner · 23 January 2010 · Chapter 7: Two Copper Pennies
Hooray! With the Hobbits patronizing his bakery, he'll soon have others beating on his door to come in, the Hobbits being quickly recognized as having excellent taste in food! Heh! Nice!
Author's reply
I'm sure he will! I would want to check out a bakery that had been frequented by hobbits!
Larner · 23 January 2010 · Chapter 6: Spice---Pippin
Appears that lad needs a handy glass of milk, which I'm told works best at countering the spices' heat. As one whose stomach cannot tolerate extremes in spices--I can't even eat tomatoes or onions a good deal of the time, even--I feel for him!
Author's reply
Glad you can sympathize. Thanks for reviewing! Author Reply: Well, not glad that you've had bad experiences with food. Just glad Pippin has a supporter.
Antane · 22 January 2010 · Chapter 6: Spice---Pippin
Poor Pippin! I love spicy food too but I've learned through stomach pains that I can't take the *really* spicy stuff. Cute story, especially about him clearing his plate as a proper hobbit should even if his mouth is on fire! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
This was kind of inspired by my Dad's experience. He had lived in Mexico for awhile and so that he could handle any kind of spicy food, but when he tried really hot Indian food, he found out differently! Thanks!
Linda Hoyland · 21 January 2010 · Chapter 6: Spice---Pippin
Poor Pippin, I don't like spicy food at all!
Author's reply
Poor Pippin, indeed. I like spicy food, but not that spicy.
Linda Hoyland · 21 January 2010 · Chapter 1: Role Model Ruler---Faramir
This was just lovely.I could not have put it better myself!
Author's reply
Thanks! That means a lot, especially coming from the queen of Faramir and Aragorn friendship fic :)
Larner · 12 July 2009 · Chapter 5: The Sea---Maglor
And how so much of the tragedy he sees there is that he has built in the choices of his life, and carried in memories stored in the depths of his heart! So apt! Nicely done!
Author's reply
I'm honored you liked it. I've been reading a fair bit of Maglor fic in the past few months.
Antane · 11 July 2009 · Chapter 5: The Sea---Maglor
Another nice one! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Antane · 26 June 2009 · Chapter 2: Beauty for All to See---Sam and Faramir
I didn't ask before - can I put this on my website? http://www.knittedsouls.com Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
You may post this or anything else I have written/will write in the future on your website. I would be honored!
Antane · 26 June 2009 · Chapter 1: Role Model Ruler---Faramir
This is just what I feel myself - Faramir saw Aragorn, literally, as a dream come true - there would be a great love between the two because Faramir awaited this for so long and so eagerly and immediately welcomed the king. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Yes! I love reading stories about Aragorn and Faramir. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Antane · 25 June 2009 · Chapter 2: Beauty for All to See---Sam and Faramir
This is beautiful! What a loving thing for Faramir to do. *hugs the man* Thank you for the honor of your nominating The Letter. That was a nice surprise! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Your welcome, and thank you for reviewing this and nominating it for MEFAs.
Larner · 23 June 2009 · Chapter 3: Contact and Cures---Eowyn
Well, this is indeed ONE way to bring all these pairs of lovers (or once-lovers) into a single drabble. Heh! Nicely done.
Author's reply
A bit silly, I know, but at least I mentioned them all.
Larner · 23 June 2009 · Chapter 2: Beauty for All to See---Sam and Faramir
Beautiful! And you wrote it for Vistula? Definitely one who deserves such a tribute! As for Sam here--I love the honor shown him by Faramir! YES!
Author's reply
It was a HASA birthday drabble in 2004 or 2005, don't remember which. I also like to see Sam honored! In some ways, I think he is the most heroic character in the book.
Larner · 23 June 2009 · Chapter 1: Role Model Ruler---Faramir
Yes, I can so see this!
Author's reply
I'm glad. Thanks!
Larner · 23 June 2009 · Chapter 4: The Indecisiveness of Beregond
Yes, I sould suppose he would have rather a "limbo" feeling to him now! Poor Beregond!
Author's reply
I do feel bad for him. He was only trying to help his beloved lord! Aragorn dealt with him wisely, though.
shirebound · 22 June 2009 · Chapter 1: Role Model Ruler---Faramir
Well done. No wonder Faramir recognized and loved his new king.
Author's reply
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Raksha The Demon · 21 June 2009 · Chapter 3: Contact and Cures---Eowyn
I will certainly agree that Faramir saved Eowyn, by not giving up on her, and restoring her to life. She had very little will to live, to do other than throw herself into battle, after Aragorn revived her. Interesting drabble!
Author's reply
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes the characters who support others are really the most heroic.
shirebound · 23 March 2005 · Chapter 2: Beauty for All to See---Sam and Faramir
This is so lovely! Not only are Sam-Faramir scenes rare, but Faramir's words to Sam are absolutely wonderful.
Author's reply
Thanks! It's an honour to be reviewed by a author I respect!
Eruanna · 22 March 2005 · Chapter 2: Beauty for All to See---Sam and Faramir
This is very sweet. I love the comparison of a garden with a poem, and Faramir's gentle encouragement is wonderful. :)
