Just when I think I've read all the great LOTR fiction out there I stumble across another great one. This story has a unique plot. I lilke what you've done with Aragorn and Legolas' friendship. It makes sense that after all the years they have known each other they would have some disagreements. The fact that Aragorn is stressed out as king is believable. I must admit, I cheated. You mentioned you had posted more chapters elsewhere, well, lets just say I'm up to chapter 13. Hey, once I'm hooked I can't stop, and I'm hooked. I can't remember which chapter it was in but I thought the conversation between Aragorn and Faramir about duty etc., was excellent. It was a great way to explore Aragorn's feelings about his life and being king. Nice work all around. I look forward to reading more, but alas, I must go to work. Ugh.

Wantanelf, thank you, I'm glad you liked the story here and the conversations 'elsewhere' lol! And I don;t mind that you 'cheated' - it's available for anyone who wishes to get a - shall we say - full preview? :-) Hope you enjoy the rest of the chapters.
