How to make Merry feel more positive. It's a lovely letter and precisely the right gift. Has Frodo left a similar message for Pippin when he has to take on Thaining?

This was such an amazing story, it really made me think... I'm in awe of this, it's just a perfect explanation--and I can't imagine reading any other way that the plotbunny could go, lol! Great job! I loved every word....
