Very well done. I had never really thought of Gandalf and Pippin know that Merry was with them and Eowyn when they shouldn't have. I liked the way you expleined Gandalf knowing and the way he spoke to Pippin as they mad their way down the streets. Thank you it was splendid!

Wonderful, Pipwise! You filled in this "missing scene" beautifully. I especially love this... “Such has proved to be our advantage,” Gandalf replied cryptically. “It seems the Enemy may only be felled by those He least expects.” Indeed!

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! I had fun writing that little part - I realised afterwards that this was the reply Pippin never got in another story I wrote, from one of your ROTK plot bunnies. I must try and write something other than Pippin and Gandalf! Thank you for reading this! :)
