A very good way for Aragorn to get a friend when he needs one, also a good way for the healer to get the sick one to listen to him. Loved how again was thinking of how to get Faramir and Imrahil to be less formal.

Glad you liked it! Faramir and Imrahil are really cool characters, but I bet they had a lot more trouble having causual conversation with a king than a hobbit would :)

Challenge 12 came out at a very busy time and I never did get to read many of the stories. Certainly am glad you reposted here, where I usually read! Pippin's voice sounds very true to me, and I must admit this story had me chuckling all the way through. Sneaky Aragorn! Thanks for a lovely way to start the week.
