Just hilarious, I loved this !

Author's reply

Thank you, Linda! :D

harrowcat · 29 September 2006 · Chapter 3: A Three Hour Cruise

Oh just brilliant. I have recently been posting reviews about Authors with over-active imaginations and long may they last. Now, did I leave you reviews for the previous chapters or was I just a shy lurker? *wanders off to check....and then grab a towel for that hot tub!*

Author's reply

I always suspected that the true story of the Grey Havens had somehow been left out of the Red Book! Those fun-loving Elves really know how to party. :D

Elflingimp · 29 September 2006 · Chapter 3: A Three Hour Cruise

That was hilarious!!!!!LOL I almost think Tolkien would get a kick out of it!!(maybe....)

Author's reply

Awwww, I love the idea of that. These little scenes are such fun. :D

Bow da Bardman · 29 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

That was hysterical! Ha Ha Ha! Keep writing like that. I will show my friends this story, actually, both stories (the one about Frodo and grumpy old Gandalf, too). Sincerely, Bow da Bardman

Author's reply

Thank you, Bow! I'm glad you enjoyed this! :D

Ellie · 28 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

"To the East I go not!" I love it! Very clever and wayyyy tooo funnyyyy! You're a nutcase after my own heart. Excellent and well done!

Author's reply

It's such fun to play with these characters once in awhile! They're waaay too serious most of the time. Thanks, Ellie! :D

Armariel · 23 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

*giggles* *giggles some more* *snickering hard* *snickering harder* *trying to hold in massive laughing fit* *trying to reassure my cat that I haven't lost it entirely* =^~~^=

Author's reply

*giggles* Glad you enjoyed, and I do love your 'cat' sketch!

Linda Hoyland · 22 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

Frodo must have felt furious to hear this !I doubt he had a clue just how powerful Gandalf was.

Author's reply

Yes, Gandalf had better run. A furious hobbit is a force to be reckoned with. :D

Linda Hoyland · 22 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

I would not like to have to look after Gandalf !Highly amusing !

Author's reply

Glad you enjoyed! :D

Grey Wonderer · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

Good ole Sam always there with exactly what is needed! Now we shall see if Wizards are imortal. LOL

Author's reply

What would Frodo do without Sam? *giggles* Glad you enjoyed!

Grey Wonderer · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

Ah, get the Wizard some ice cream! LOL This was great. I've never read one where Gandalf was the complaining patient before.

Author's reply

It's fun to play around with some of the more serious characters. :D

Baggins Babe · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

Oooh! Frodo gets angry! And I loved Sam's response - throwing Frodo the sword and then getting out of there! Always knew Sam was a sensible hobbit!

Author's reply

We just don't see enough of angry!Frodo when it's all in fun. And of course Sam is always there when his Mr. Frodo needs him! I think this particular wizard doesn't know what he's gotten himself into.

Baggins Babe · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

*giggle* *snert* *gasp* Oh this was hilarious! Cranky wizard moaning about Elvish hairdressing, looking fat in white, and blaming Shadowfax and Pippin for nearly everything! Thank you for brightening my day, Shirebound

Author's reply

Eeee, you snerted! What a compliment! :D

naiad · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

Delightful! Got a fine pithy chuckle out of that one. Clever use of the nit that Faramir, not Gandalf, spoke that line - I'd forgotten! Love Frodo when he gets angry ... Thanks for sharing!

Author's reply

Thanks, naiad! Leave it to a hobbit (or two) to cut a wizard down to size. :D

Andrea · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

“I’ll just leave you two alone, shall I?” Haha! Gandalf in trouble, I like that! And after all, he certainly deserves what's coming next! I loved that sentence about the convenience of the Balrog incident ;-)

Author's reply

Thanks, Andrea! It's fun to see Gandalf in trouble once in awhile. :D

Larner · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

And trust dear Sam to have the sword ready to toss to his master JUST when it's most wanted. I DO think Gandalf misjudged here! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!

Author's reply

Mr. "important wizard" has just his match. *grins*

Larner · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

Reading these a second time here has been well worth it, my friend. And reading other people's comments is as entertaining as reading the ficlets. Yes, a nice bumpy ride to Rohan or Gondor or somewhere would show both Shadowfax AND Pippin!

Author's reply

You sweetie, thank you. (I wonder if Pippin ever found out Gandalf's true reason for that ride to Gondor!) :D

Pearl Took · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

Pearl Took · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

This is even better than the other one!!!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL Go Frodo!! Well done, Sam!!! Woo Hoo!! Hehehehehe

Author's reply

Thank you! I think Gandalf is in for quite a hobbit-scolding. At the very least. :D

Anonymous · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

"Gandalf sighed and stepped away from the Mirror of Galadriel. “But you said I could stay online as long as I wished!”" The first inkling of the insanity to come :) Wonderful!!!!

Author's reply

Thank you, Pearl! Yes, not even Gandalf is immune to the mesmerizing powers of the internet. *grins*

puppypersonLOTR · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

lol! that's awesome! and Sam just lets them fight it out.... that's a picture that will stay in my mind all day, I'm sure....I always appreciate something funny to think about when my life is crazy busy. I do so admire your creativity - thanks for sharing it with us!

Author's reply

Sam is a very wise hobbit! Thank you so much for reading. :D

harrowcat · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

Oh just what I needed for a lunch-time giggle, (well, roar out loud if the truth is to be told!) Brilliant Shirebound.

Author's reply

Glad to give you a giggle! That wacky wizard. :D

Starfire_Moonlight · 21 March 2006 · Chapter 2: The Truth Comes Out

HeeHee...Gandalf's in trouble. '“Where’s that sword?” Frodo muttered, looking around the room. “Here you go, Mr. Frodo,” Sam said calmly. He stood in the doorway, Sting in his hand. He tossed it to Frodo and smiled, pulling the door closed again. “I’ll just leave you two alone, shall I?”' Hee, Sam's smart and knows when to leave. Course, I couldn't blame him, I'd leave too.

Author's reply

Good old Sam! Always there when his Mr. Frodo needs him most. :D

puppypersonLOTR · 10 December 2005 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

sleepy_orange · 24 September 2004 · Chapter 1: Patience with Patients

*giggling* i don't usually like parodies, but i loved that short ficlet. especially of Gandalf as a stubborn patient. Thanks!

Author's reply

Glad to give you a giggle! You might enjoy "Can You Sing, Master Hobbit?" if you need another chuckle sometime. :)
