Thank you so much! Merry's poem was actually written by my dear friend for me, when I was upset one day. Pippin's poem (and in fact this entire story) was a response to that touching outpouring of affection - she doesn't usually like to write poems, you see. I'm glad that you liked it! ~Rosie
