Was it too short? Oh dear, guess I cut it down to much, huh? I was having alot of trouble with the chapters being too long and not being able to update sooner. We'll see what we can do...So pleased you're enjoying the fic tree

Poor Frodo! He needs some special TLC! Be sure to include lots of fluff! I am enjoying this story very much, and I hope you update soon. Also, I am very curious about what Frodo's reaction will be to the bald spot in the back of his head!;) And are Merry and Pippin going to make an appearance? Just curious.

Im not sure about Merry and Pippin yet. I love fluffing that Frodo back into shape so you don't need to worry about that at all and I'm pretty certain that Frodo is sure to have something interesting to say in elvish about his missing hair.

I am really enjoying this story, especially Sam tackling Strider. Of course, I'm seeing a younger version of Sean Astin and Viggo Mortenson in my mind while I read this, but it's still pretty funny!

I have a very soft spot for Viggo Mortenson even before he became our Aragorn. Not only is he a magnificent actor (and what a hunk!!!) but he's a fellow artist. Plus he's so down to earth that he's simply, too hard to resist. Plus who can forget Sean Astin in Goonies, Rudy or Encino Man? He was fantastic and so funny in the last one, I love that movie. I had no problem picturing this happening and laughing the whole time I was writing/typing it down. Glad I tickled your funny bone as well. While I am a true sucker for H/C and angst, levity is something that should always be added to lighten the mood. You don't want your audience to all commit suicide, after all, do you? Thanks so much for your review. tree

Ah, alas Jules, even though I would dearly love to take the credit for the beginnings of this fun fic, it was Elwen's first chapter that you have just read. She started the fic, but then it went no further. She asked if anyone would like to give it a go and I told her I wanted to so the subsequent chapters are mine. I hope that you enjoy them as much as this first one (which I *loved* that's why I took up the challenge in the first place). Let me know what you think, ok? tree
