A very sweet story! I like how you wrote them all able to look back on the Quest with a bit of humor! I like that they all bedded down together, much more cozy that way! Why didn't Merry think to bring featherbeds on the Quest? ;) Thank you for such a nice story!

Thank you for reading! Yes, it was rather poor planning on Merry`s part not bringing featherbeds. And cuddly hobbits are the best! I`m glad you liked it.

What a cute story! I love the cousins keeping each other company and reminiscing by the fireplace. Very cozy. I can easily see Sam and Merry being the most stubborn about being sick. Probably the toughest challenge Strider ever faced!

I liked that one! I completely agree with Pippin and Frodo. I'm sure they would all have enjoyed the quest much more if they had brought feather beds. :)

So much love and caring and gentle teasing! I love stories like this. All three cousins are focused on making sure the others are as comfortable and light-of-heart as possible, yet all three are honest enough not to hide what they need from each other. Lovely. Thank you.
