great story, I remember catching fireflies when I was young, never let them go in the house, only Estel would do that. looking forward to more

How adorable!! We read so much about Strider the Ranger, Aragorn of the Fellowship, and even Elessar the King, but rarely do we get to read about Estel the child. (There's more??!! Please tell me where I can find them here) I'm really looking forward to reading more of your work--what a nice thing to come home to after a hot day at work :)

I'm a hobbit kind of girl myself, but this was absolutely cute! "Wait until you have children of your own..."--which is usually my Paladin's mantra. I've been writing a "fire fly" story of my own with Merry and Pippin, but I think now I will wait a long while before I post it. This will be a tough tale to follow. :-) Besides, it's a long way from being finished. Lovely story! Pippinfan

Oh this is so sweet! I love fireflies. Actually they would be cool to have inside on a dark night. They're kind of ugly close up though.

Ai! That was darling. So sweet and innocent, and it made me laugh. It also had a strong sense of reality, and I know; I live with two little ones, and they do stuff like that all the time... Keep up the good work! I want to read more.
