This is so touching! I especially loved the last line, and how Pippin thought couldn't understand why they would ever need to swear an oath, because his (and Merry's, of course, and eventually the rest of the the Fellowship) devotion to Frodo is so strong and pure. Very lovely, and thank you ^_^
