I just loved Upon the Tide of Ruin, and this was just as good. You write the exchange and emotions and actions between Merry and Eowyn v. well. This is a wonderful little companion piece, and I'm v. glad you wrote it, as when I read UtToR and finished I remember wishing it hadn't ended so soon. Thanks for the read.

yay! another LOVELY story by our fav author: Rose Gamgee!!! I liked the "prequel", 'Opon the Tide of Ruin' as well. You are very good at writing hobbits and capturing their cute little thoughts and emotions. (now all we need is an update on 'When Stars Collide", and I'll be a happy hobbit! no pressure, tho. lol) ~ swg ~
