· Chapter 1: The Stone Tree
A stone tree. That's a great image for Gimli to have of Legolas.
Author's reply
I'm glad you liked the image of the stone tree. I couldn't picture Gimli going completely "native" and picturing Legolas as a living tree. But a tree carved out of precious stone? I could see Gimli picturing Legolas like that.
Thanks for the review, daw. :)

· Chapter 2: One Sound
Another wonderful drabble, very chilling, somehow. It's a joy to read such good work - I know how tricky drabbles can be!

· Chapter 4: Which Way?
Very nice. It's interesting to think that may have been the moment when Elladan considered the possibility of mortality, if he had always considered himself elven. What of Elrohir's thoughts?

Author's reply
I asked Elrohir what his thoughts on being afraid at the Paths of the Dead. He rather huffily told me that he thought he deserved his own drabble! I just might have to oblige him if I ever want him to talk to me again. :)
Thanks for the review, Jay.
