You know, I KNOW I read this before. I think someone sent it to me or posted it somewhere and I read it long before I ever knew you. I thought that the first time I read it, but dismissed it thinking it must just have been similar, though the more I reread it, the more I am convinced this is the same piece I read long ago. BTW, it is good, and obviously, stays with the mind.

Well, thanks! Uhmmm, I did post it first at ffnet, some longish months ago, where it died a prompt death by burial in that stack of nonsense:) Glad it stuck in your mind though, must have done something right.
