I, too, can only say, "WOW!" Great story...I love Legolas stories as an elfling, and this one, with its serious subject, is wonderful. You'd have to think that there would be something driving him to face the odds he and the Fellowship faced...especially when he had been given permission to leave them after awhile. But he didn't, and he does seem the type to keep his promises. Again, thanks for a great story...just what I needed this morning before class started! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it—"Baby Legolas" does make for wonderful writing material, doesn't he? :) I'm relieved that it seemed a realistic situation..and it's great that it helped your morning go a little better: I'm not all that keen on heading to class myself ;)
