· Chapter 9: Loeg Ningloron
oh please update, don't just leave us here.... I confess I am one of those (I suspect many) who have been reading and enjoying this but neglecting to review. I am in awe of the detail you have put into every chapter and very impressed by the research you have obviously done. You certainly do paint a picture with words. Please don't leave our poor ranger here, we want to see him get safely to Mirkwood, rid himself of the loathesome Gollum, and then enjoy some well-earned rest (if that's not too much to ask). Don't make us (and poor Aragorn) wait too much longer!

The chapter to this story was really discriptive! I love how you are able to bring the characters to life through simple description. You must have studied the world of Tolkien really well to come this far. Well done!

· Chapter 7: Flight to the Riddermark
once again the chapter is brillient! The elvish added in makes it feel a little bit more middle-earthy. The discription of Rohan is excellent. You must have studied the books really hard to bring the landscape to life!

· Chapter 6: Passage Over Emyn Muil
This is a realistic protrayal of Aragorn's searching and finding of Gollum, and I dread to think how he could have withstood 50 days dragging him to Mirkwood.

· Chapter 3: Ithilien
Delightfully heroic, and a fine portrayal of the Morgul darkness. The seamless blending of doubt, despair and physical poison is effective in conveying Tolkien's picture of the Black lands
