Human!!! Whoa, Legolas needs some anger management classes!:D LOL! Actually though, I feel sorry for him! Poor guy, I mean elf, having to carry such a burden alone! Please let him tell someone soon! I don't think he can stand it much more!:)
Namarië,
~Lossenchristal:)
Author's reply
Anger management class is open on weekdays, 9am-5pm :D Someone drag the elf to sign up for it please. LOL! Somehow I don't think Legolas is angry, I think he's just frustrated and in a near panic. :)

Yikes! Legolas is getting kind of snappy. You can't blame him though. I really hope Estel (yeah, I hope hope) doesn't push Legolas too far! At the same time, maybe if Estel does go too far, Legolas will react and spill the beans... Hmm, oh well! Great ficcy!
Author's reply
No, I won't blame him. He's only trying to protect his friends from having to make a hard decision. But Aragorn is very determine to dig out the truth. He'll beat Legolas into submission if he has to. LOL!

I'm glad you liked the "Fire Extinguisher" :D You'll find it to be rather useful later *g*

hi there, what a great birthday for Estel. loved the gift from Elrond, and very good thinking on Elledan's part, to give him a bow made for a man. But just what is in the box that Elrohir has given him? Looking forward to finding out!
Author's reply
Elrohir's gift? Hopefully not something Legolas will have to eat. LOL!! But no worries, I'm not about to give our dear prince food poisoning... not when he's already in such deep trouble. *eg*

I am loving every chapter of this story....cliffhangers or not! It cheers me up every time I see an update in my emails in the morning!
Author's reply
Oh thank you! :D You're the first that didn't complain about cliffies or non cliffies. LOL! Some readers are rather hard to satisfy. You give them cliffie, they complain. You don't give them cliffie, they complain too *eg*
*ducks unidentified flying objects launched at her*

Anyway, glad you're liking it :D

I was wondering where you had gotten to. Juat this morning I was thinking it was time for an update, but I must say, you are getting soft. Two chapters without a cliffie? You're loosing your touch! Update soon plese =)
Author's reply
I'm here! I'm here! :D But stupid ffnet has to die and won't let me log on so I couldn't post there. And I didn't think it was fair for some to read (SoA) and some not (ffnet) so I decided to wait until FFNet gets risen from the dead before posting. Sorry about that :)
And you get a non-cliffie chapter so no pulling out hair or having heart attacks. LOL!! But there won't be many cliffies in this story. Maybe one or two. The others are rather mild and won't be considered cliffies :)
Happy reading :)

I am exceedingly sorry! I bet that when I quit rambling you didn't think I'd quit reviewing! ;-) Again, sorry. I've been too busy living and trying to remember to breathe to review anybody's story. Even as I write I am short on time, so I'll just tell you I am still loving the story, and I'll review when I can!
Keep persevering!
Author's reply
I'm glad that you are still reading :)
FFNet is messed up and is eating all the reviews so I won't be posting until they fix the problem. :P Sorry bout that :) You can blame it on FFNet. LOL!

ACK! *trembles* Poor...poor...POOR LEGOLAS! My POOR x 175 baby! AHH! HE"S DYING! AHHH! //Scream the entire house down.// I know what that's like. It's fun. ;-) LOL. Haha! This chapter created some humorous mental images...such as Aragorn waving his hands in the air, etc. etc. Noo! He's fading!
Odd. My tired hyper activity seems to be taking the opposite effect that it normally does. I seem to have lost the capability to rambles as much as usual...so if you can't stand my rambling: be happy. If you like it: don't worry; it'll be back. If you can't stand it: be afraid.
Post soon!
Author's reply
Ohh... I see that your "poor" has multiplied since the last review. *wonders how high it would get by the end of the story* LOL!! I'm begining to seriously question your sanity. LMAO!! I hope you didn't collapse the house! :D
*wipes sweat off brow* Phew... you mean I can have a break from your rambling? ;) J/K! Love your ramblings. I'll just have to get my earplugs ready *g* *ducks flying objects*

· Chapter 4: The Messenger
Yikes! I can't seem to find a minute to myself lately...and I'm running on food and insanity...no sleep. But however the case may be, I have *not* been drinking pop to boost my energy level! Ohh! Lovely, cruel angst! Ah! Poor Legolas. My POOR x 150 baby! Fever induced dreams...quite an unfortunate turn of events for our Elf! Legolas' condition was very well described; I was cringing the entire time...poor guy.
Wait, wait! NOT THE ARMOR! ;-) You don't *have* to have a hyper reviewer on your tail; we can meet head on, if you prefer. ;-)
Okay! Next chapter!
Author's reply
I didn't know someone can run on insanity. LOL! Well, there's always a first *g* So... you feel sorry for Legolas?? Gooooood :D That's the kind of effect I'm looking for. Hehehe.
Meet you head on?!? Are you insane?!?!? Wait... I think you are. You know, my head is not as hard as the heads of Aragorn and Legolas. You'll give me brain damage :P No thanks. I think I'll just hide in my hole. LOL!

Tried to leave a review on FF.Net but it obviously doesn't like me. I was actually reading this story on the MC list but I have a tendancy not to leave reviews there. I don't know why, I guess the list kind of intimidates me, I prefer lurkdom. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I love all your stories and am really enjoying this one as well. Keep up the good work =)

Thank you. And I got your review on FFNet too. LOL! But that's okay. The more the merrier. At least I know the story doesn't suck too bad. Hahaha!!

· Chapter 3: Maybe It's Better This Way
Oh sure, blame Delund! *tsk tsk* ;-) 'Sokay. This short chapter kind of has a hit-and-run effect, I'd say. And now I'm going to start doing what I've been doing while reviewing White Wolf's story "The Wrong Path". My POOR x 100 baby! (This math could get worse; you should see some of my reviews! My little Algebra instinct kicks in, and the worst thing is...I HATE Algebra!) I was pretty confident Elrohir wasn't hearing things, but I'm not sure that that means he's sane... Oh well. There is an excellent mix of seriousness and humor in this chapter; until the end, of course. And let the angst...um...continue!
Whee! Permission to ramble granted! *evil laugh* Heh heh heh... And it's really not fair; it's not exactly my fault that I'm always hyper...I must have been born with it. In actuality, I don't eat *that* much sugar. And it's not caffeine either! I don't drink coffee, and I only drink one can of pop per week! *sigh* Unfortunately for everybody who comes in contact with me, THERE JUST DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY WAY TO GET RID OF MY HYPERNESS! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm hyper when I read; I'm hyper when I write; I'm hyper when I talk; and I even have hyper dreams! ACK! *pant pant*
Er...anyway...MORE PLEASE!
Author's reply
Uh oh... I've got a hyper reviewer on my tail! LOL! *runs to put on her armor*
You're right about Elrohir. He wasn't hearing things but that doesn't mean he's not losing his mind. Being with Aragorn all these years really stretched his (and his twin's) sanity. LOL!! And now they have Legolas to worry about. I really pity them... and their father. Elrond can write an entire set of encyclopedia just by treating the injuries his human son and the elven prince so kindly bring to him. *eg*

How could you leave it it at such a cliffhanger!? It's too cruel!..please do another chapter soon, I love your story!

*chokes* ACKK! NO! DON'T END THERE!!! AHHHH! *whimpers* Poor, poor Legolas. My poor, poor baby! (Don't encourage me to multiply the poors; you'll get more than you bargained for! Just ask White Wolf!) Poor guy, he's getting really beat up! Delund is quite the guy, that's for sure. This is going to hit hard for Elrond, holy cow. I at least hope that Legolas doesn't DIE before he gets there! How are we gonna save him? *smacks herself* *tiny voice speaks* "YOU aren't gonna do anything. YOU can't save him, and you can't make the AUTHOR save him!" Darn it! ;-) I guess I'll just have to trust you on this...but don't expect me to be happy about it! ;-) You never know what'll happen if you trust an author who likes to torture the characters...and that's just about all of us.
Why not-so-in-the-neighbourhood? To tell you the truth, I'm not entirely sure. When I'm extra hyper, I tend to be more abnormal than normal, and it was just one of those days...First of all, "friendly neighborhood" seemed a bit too everyday, and secondly, it's a miracle I even *have* a neighborhood, because to have a neighborhood you have to have neighbors, and I've driven mine crazy. There's only one person who can tolerate my weirdness for an extended period of time, (and it's only because she's almost weirder than me!) That, and I drive everyone ballistic with my incessant rambling...sorry!
Keep writing!
Author's reply
Ohh, Legolas won't die before he gets to Rivendell or there will be no more tortures... errr... I mean story. *eg* If you think this is bad, it's gonna get worse (in sense of angst wise... I think. Hehehe) And no, you can't make me save him, that's the good part of all this. Muahahaha!!! And lay off the sugar girl! LOL!! Or is it caffeine? ;) But you're welcome to ramble all you want. Reading reviews is such fun thing to do especially when I know that there are people out there who actually enjoy my demented stories. Hahaha!

Oh, dear. I have to tell my liege all this? Do you think Celeborn might have any openings? I am a good Scribe. But, tell Thranduil that the wimp Elrond has something that must be delivered to spare our prince a horrific death after 100 days? And, I thought his last situation in your story was a pain in the posterior?
OK, Thranduil, do you realize that we are stuck here with the Thelma and Louise of elvendom authors? Get hold of Galadriel! I don't CARE if the bloody ban has been lifted, she cannot sail yet. We shall need her. YES, tell her to bring the mirror. And Celeborn! Elf has not done lick of useful work since the fall of Doriath. Keeps blaming the dwarves for everything.
I tell you. If the Middle-earth economy picks up, I may consider a change of career.
Hate that rotten Delund. Did I spell that correctly? Probably not. Distracted by Thranduil bellowing. He does that a lot. You should know this, Estelle.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
I think it's time you seriously think about a change of career because it's gonna get worse. King Thranduil may not like what you have to say to him in later chapters although I'm trying my best to make things easier for you. *eg* You can always come work with me *rubs hands together with an evil smirk* Together we can "re-arrange" the ranger and the elf.

OK, first things first. Humble Scribe has a headache already. Estelle are you Wanda or Cat? We are so confused. However, we KNOW you, Estelle, and that you are tricksy. We are already packing a bag of medical supplies and herbs, plus two extra quivers of arrows. Our prince is, we are sure, again in mortal peril. My liege, have you got the ransom money if I need it? Good. Now, where did I put that darn dwarf's address? I may need him.
Already he is fighting with Adar? Usually, it takes my liege at least a chapter or two. You ladies are good.
*Bows low to Cassia and Sio. Not THERE is Legolas torture!*
Oh, I should talk. I have just started to make poor Haldir fall for a mortal. I have no shame.
Let the angst of Legolas begin! I am ready!

Hello hello! I'm your friendly not-so-in-the-neighborhood hyper reviewer! This is a nice story you guys (gals) have here! The first paragraph is very nice; excellent descriptions; it makes me want to be there! It also kind of drops you into the story; a very nice technique! Poor Legolas. (I tend to say that a *lot*, so please bear with me!) I hope he eventually fixes things with Thranduil... "Short cuts make long delays!" (as the Gaffer so wisely said...at least I think it was the Gaffer...) *thinks* *thinks some more* And so, with a evil character, a diabolical plot, and Legolas angst (which I am addicted to) in the first page, we have ourselves a very gripping beginning chapter.
Good job!

Hello friendly not-so-in-the-neighborhood hyper reviewer :D Why not-so-in-the-neighbourhood? :)
Yes, poor Legolas. I tend to say that a lot myself too. He's so... 'torturable' Hehehe. The evil character is... wait, I can't tell you that. It would spoil everything. Guess you just have to read on to find out :D
