A new story? Wow, I've been so dense lately I didn't yet recognize that the last one had reached it's conclusion. I gather that's why you haven't updated it This new one looks to be fantastic! You've certainly nailed the art of dropping us in the action as rapidly as possible (very useful technique when submitting manuscripts to publishers, BTW). I am eager to see how this story is going to progress, but already I am worried. You're going to take Beliond from us, aren't you. I've just become fond of the crunchy old soul, and I will miss him. The anxiety level has also kicked up quite a bit with the addition of Sinnarn into the warrior mix, and I anticipate much conflict with that young one on board. Poor Legolas, seeing failure in his inability to defeat a dragon singlehanded in his first confrontation with one. That's our elf :) I'll be waiting eagerly for more! Thanks for sharing.

I think I need to start typing "The End" at the end of my stories. Other people too tell me they can't always tell when I'm done. It seems to me that Fellowship Legolas is someone who feels responsible for taking care of others, so I'm trying to get young Legolas growing in that direction too. Sinnarn is undoubtedly a pain to all his captains, with Eilian as no exception. I like the image of Beliond as "crunchy." :-)
