What a lovely story. The way you tie the different sections together is very well done, and I love how the presence of Dareth brings out the softer side of Legolas and Gimli.

I love the idea of Legolas's interest in the trees who came to the aid of the Rohirrim. I had never thought of it before. And bless Gimli for teaching the child Elvish.
