Poor Estel. I have a feeling that those last words will not be true. Very nice chapter. More please!
Author's reply
Yes well, there has to be a story, doesn't there? I can say no more. :o)
Glad you like the chapter.
Fear not. There will be "much, much" more.

No fair! You are very evil... (In a good sort of way!) ;-) Poor Legolas; always the victim of evil plots. Good cliffies...as usual. Once again, another chapter I can't find fault with! Would that such were true for my own stories... ;-)
Author's reply
I guess being evil in a good sort of way is a compliment. I'll take it that way.
Yes, there are a lot of us who do awful things to Legolas. Poor baby.
I'm happy you like the chapter. It is one of my own favorites.
I didn't see your name on the author's list. I would like to know what stories you have written, and why they are not here. Are they not LOTR fics?

Nice continue.
I think that he'll not be the same elf that he was.
I still love what I read.
Please update soon, this is so good story.

Comment #2: I can't reveal what will happen until it happens. But, I'm sure you already knew that, didn't you? :o)
Comment #3: I'm glad you are still loving it.
Comment #4: I'll update Saturday. I'm glad you think it's good. That makes me very happy.
Author Reply: Oops. I meant to say I'd update Sunday.

Hmmm, interim stage to awake had an evil snake. Nope. We don't trust you. This is not going to go well for our prince.
Excuse me, I think I shall just tiptoe off and alert my liege.
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
Not trust me? I'm wounded. Actually, that is a compliment. I don't like being predictable.
Here's a hint for you. YOu don't have to alert Thranduil.

Legolas will be alright like before or turned to the evil?
On the last chapter (5) there was a line of "He'll come to us soon" if I'm not mistake.
There wil be a suprise I guess on chapter 7, right?
I still love what I right.

Now, I "know" you don't want me to tell you what is going to happen. :o) It's a long story, so hang on. There will be a lot of surprises along the way.

Elladan, Elrohir, and Estel aren't the only ones puzzled by what Elrond said. He didn't reveal enough in his conversation with Glorfindel! Now I will have to wait until the next chapter for some answers.
Author's reply
I'm sorry you were evidently disappointed by the fact that Elrond didn't give all the answers during his conversation with Glorfindel. I hope your puzzlement will be cleared up as the story unfolds.

Welcome back! Now, get Elf Boy awake for goodness' sake! At least, I think I want him awake. You are evil, though. Perhaps awake will be worse?
Poor Elrond. Guilt and Thranduil headed his way. Think I shall jump back a few chapters and re-read in preparation for my favorite king's arrival. I want to be clear on just why he's hitting Elrond about the head!
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
I'll let you decided if being awake is better or worse. :o)
I'm hoping, if you are a Thranduil fan, that you will like my version of the woodland King, especially as a father. I'll give yo a clue: I rather like Thranduil myself.

Who is the he? Legolas? Aragorn? Elrond? I personally suspect the last one. Great chapter. Where exactly did all of that blood come from? Internal bleeding, of just severe biting of the lip? More soon please!
Author's reply
Glad you like the chapter.
There's a clue who the 'he' is in the part about Mordraug, if you want to look for it. If not, don't worry. It will be revealed in a later chapter.
With Legolas clawing around inside his mouth, it's for certain, in my mind anyway, that he opened up a few blood vessels that bled freely.
If all goes as planned, I'll be updating on Dec. 3rd.

Grr... That is a horrible cliffy! I can't believe that you left off there! Poor Estel. I hope that you add to this soon, you have left me desparate for more!
Author's reply
Well, I see that my horrible cliffy has succeeded. They make good grabbers to bring desperate readers back. :o) However, I think the story itself has a lot more to do with that than cliffies, and I'm trying hard to give everyone a good read.
How's tomorrow for the next update?

*gasp* WHATHAPPENSWHATHAPPENSWHATHAPPENS!!! I love this brilliant piece of writing! The plot line develops extremely well, and I happen to LOVE Legolas angst. (Can't help it; it's a sadistic pleasure.) ;-) Anyway, wonderful portrayal of Aragorn's character. I too loved the 'something light' quote. Pippin would indeed be most pleased. The story is evolving in a breathtakingly mysterious way. Nice cliff hangers. Poor Legolas! Post soon!
Author's reply
Thandk you for the complement on my writing. I try hard to be entertaining.
Speaking of the food thing, I just recieved and watched the exptende version of TTT. I love the bit at the end with Maery and Piooin and the floating apples. Too bad that wasn't in the theatrical release. My favorite part, also left out, was the funny bit where Legolas and Gimli 'settle' their count of enemies killed at Helm's Deep. That was a riot. Oops. I digress.
I hope you find the rest of the story appealing. It's a long and bumpy ride, with much angst, humor, horror and surpises.
Author Reply: Please forgive the typos. My fingers and my Spell Checker went on vacation. I, of course, know how to spell Merry and Pippin.

I give up. I've put you on my update alert list. I have to know what has befallen our prince.
"Just something light. Fruit, maybe, and honey tea. And cheese. And some bread and maybe a few sausages." Aragorn of the hobbit appetite! Pippin would be so proud.
I loved the trees:
"Please, send your strength to Legolas. Renew his spirit, so he can come back to us---and to you."
Humble Scribe to his Majesty Thranduil
Author's reply
I'm so thrilled you put me on your alert list. Thank you.
I like to put some humor in the story from time to time to break up the drama a bit. And yes, Pippin would be proud of Aragorn's menu. I guess it's a good thing I didn't add a second breakfast, or poor Aragorn would have popped.
I thought Aragorn would have been desperate enough to implore the trees to help Legolas, if they could.
