The Roses of Ilúvatar
". . .in nothing is the power of the Dark Lord more clearly shown than in the estrangement that divides all those who still oppose him." --Haldir, the March Warden of the North. A tale of the effects of ignorance and prejudice, and the evil they bring. This piece and the "Jewels of his Existence" were once two sides of the same coin. They are now one story. AU and proud of it. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CHAPTER STRUCTURE OF THIS STORY AND ITS COMPANION "JEWELS OF HIS EXISTENCE" HAVE BEEN CHANGED. UNTIL I HAVE TIME TO TRULY MERGE THEM, PLEASE SEE CHAPTER SEQUENCE FOR GUIDANCE. Thank you!

The Jewels of his Existence
. . .in nothing is the power of the Dark Lord more clearly shown than in the estrangement that divides all those who still oppose him." Haldir, the March Warden of the North. Two tales of the effects of ignorance and prejudice, and the evil they bring. This piece and the "The Roses of Ilúvatar" are two sides of the same coin. This one belongs to Gimli. I wanted to see if I could write two separate stories that were yet intertwined. Each can be read on its own, but together they make the whole of what happened in Gondor. AU and proud of it! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STORY STRUCTURE OF THIS STORY AND ITS COMPANION PIECE HAVE CHANGED. Thank you.

The Revenge of the Wood-Elf (Telerius galadh)
There has been trouble in Middle Earth. In Thranduil's realm, misguided researchers have interfered with the natural ecosystem. His son, Legolas, has been killed and dissected and many of his warriors have been taken by poachers. There have been whispers in the darkness of the presence of the fell Mary Sue. Meanwhile, in Lothlórien, Haldir, the Marchwarden of the North, has been abducted to the fell land of New Zealand, where he has fallen in battle, his skull cleaved by a Uruk blade. Galadriel is terrible in her fury at her loss and decides to take steps and join with Thranduil in a desperate alliance. Meanwhile, in the Halls of Mandos, Legolas and Haldir meet, and Haldir is drawn into the prince's plan for revenge. Dissed elves are not a pretty sight.

Once in Royal Imladris' City
Written for the Stories of Arda group's holiday challenge (2003). Thought I'd get it posted while it's still seasonal. A bit of total nonsense complete with miruvor eggnog and gilded spiders! I live in hope of seeing Lindorien's revised Hannukah tale of the Rangers complete with lembas latkes posted. Until then, for whatever it's worth, hope you enjoy!
