I am a 26 year old Computer Security Analyst who loves to write. I haven't written since high school, but decided to take up the pen and paper and try again. So here I am in the realm of fanfic hoping to improve my skills. I love LOTR, and have been since the first movie. I am an official "loon" from billyboyd.net, so I am very much a fan of Pippin, but my heart will always and forever belong to Samwise Gamgee. Merry is very close behind. I really enjoy reading stories about the hobbits, and about the Elves of Rivendell. At this point I don't really know which I will focus on for writing fanfic--probably hobbits because I really don't know the backhistory of Elves that well. Any suggestions you might have that will help me improve my writing, please let me know! I can use all the help I can get!
