What a sweet and gentle memory for both Eomer and Eowyn to share. I'm sure those "jewels" will continue to be lovingly passed down through the generations.

So glad you liked it! I really enjoyed writing it. I think the "jewels" will indeed be past down through generations as well. Thanks for taking the time to write.

Hope you are all well and safe!

p.s. I hope this will make you laugh. I've just realized that Faramir (the Man) and Ferdibrand are kindred spirits in their shared experience of conducting guerilla warfare against fearsome invaders, using bows because they work so well from cover, and Eowyn and Ferdibrand are kindred spirits in their love for all that is equine and open spaces. At least, I am seeing them that way. Imagine such a friendship! LOL

LOL! *smiles* So very true! The three of them meeting would be fun!! All like spirits!

Hope all is well with you and yours!

We are well. touch wood.

“Close your mouth, something might fly in.” And Eomer. Happy. (sigh) They all deserve happiness.

Oh gosh, thank you for that! You actually made me laugh, and that was after leaving a review on Ellynn's sobering tale and feeling deeply sad. I don't have time to read any further at the moment, but I certainly look forward to returning.

So glad I could be of service! My job is to make people happy! That includes LOTR characters and my readers!

I love Ellynn's writing but I just can't take too much reality in my fantasy right now!

Glad I could make your day a little brighter!

I do love happily-ever-afters! And these two certainly deserve it. :)

Yep! Glad you like it! I am really having so much fun writing about people being happy. It is all I seem to want to write these days! Thank you so much for writing.

Hope you are keeping well.

Aww. Eomer the mother hen.

The horse figures! I collected horses in my younger years. My horses and my books were my treasures.

Aww. Eomer speaking his heart, and his sister’s wise and empathetic answer...

Loved this!

(p.s. I have always respected Faramir-of-the-book... “Not even if I found it lying by the wayside” or something to that effect. I’m glad Eomer approves. And now I would love to see a conversation between him and Eomer about this. Or anything else, really. What fun!)

I took my cues from both the book and the film. How in the book he speaks about his distress at not noticing Eowyn's distress and depression and that scene on the battlefield on the Pelennor Fields when Eomer finds Eowyn. That scene just rips my heart out. His emotions and inability at first to express them lead to his impression of a mother hen! :-)

Eomer strikes me as a tough guy, manly man but does have a heart as you seen in "A Light in Midwinter." He has deep emotions that are not always expressed. I admit that Karl Urban's wonderful portrayal does really color my view of Eomer.

I had many friends who had the horse statues and the books I know how much they loved them. And also what else would Rohirrim children play with.

This is just the first chapter of another many chaptered story that I have started to write so a conversation between the two might just happen!

Thanks for writing and encouraging!
