Love the language lesson! ;-) The preparations sound delightful, and I hope Gail will be most happy. As for the gift for the orphanage, indeed it is most gGenerous! Hope the cheats will be stopped soon.

Author Reply: Yeah, definitely! =)

"It is fitting that the saddle he bore remain here, where he died. This is the wish of our King and his sister."

What a lovely and generous idea.

Author Reply: It sure is, and it's most generous indeed for Eomer and Eowyn to make this offer.

I can certainly appreciate how Gail could, at times, resent her older children's schedules. But when one is in a city in which all have been on a war footing for generations childhood tends to be short.

Author Reply: Yeah, that's true, isn't it? And the circumstances that the older children have been through have forced them to grow up in a hurry. K.G.

So wonderful to see them fit into the framework of the story, even though some characters vary from their roles, before, for the better. And it looks like this trip has strengthened their faith. And working them into the canon framework that Dreamflower has already written is fun too.

Author Reply: It definitely has strengthened their faith, and I've enjoyed working with Dreamflower to draw on her head canon. KathyG.

Awww, Lucy's also made her own friends.

I'd love it if hobbits planned a party for me! I'm sure it's going to be delightful. And oh yes, I can absolutely picture Pippin using "the "sad-kitty" look on the face of Puss-in-Boots"!

Author Reply: Yep, Lucy sure has, hasn't she? =)

Pippin knows how to use that "sad-kitty" look when he wants to do some wheedling, doesn't he?

I wouldn't mind if some hobbits planned a party for me, either! KathyG

Time to protect his guests. Love the growl. I have him giving feral smiles when planning such duties; this serves the same purpose!

Author Reply: I know what you mean! =) K.G.

Three cheers for Menelcar and his loyalty to the hobbits!

Merry is likely to be melancholy after such a duty, and Joey can cheer him on the return to the City."

Bless Aragorn (and you) for thinking of every detail. :)

Author Reply: Aww, thanks! =)

Menelcar is certainly loyal to the hobbits, isn't he? K.G.

A gentle interlude here, and I hope that childless mother and motherless child will find in one another what they truly need.

Author Reply: Hopefully, they will! K.G.

The family continues to settle in, but still look forward to going back home, when and if that happens.

Author Reply: Yep, and really, can you blame them? Of course, if they did have to stay in Middle-earth, I could think of worse places to live in than Minas Tirith! =) K.G.

Only, "Did we miss Mommy's birthday?" Nothing important! Heh!

Glad the orphanage is being accomplished so well.

Author Reply: Oh, I don't know. I think a mommy's birthday is very important, indeed! =)

And I agree! That orphanage is definitely needed. K.G.
