This is an excellent story. It is very well written with very engaging characters. Well done.

Many thanks for another excellent story from Middle Earth! I enjoy them so much; and reread them as much as the original books. You and so many others have enhanced my love for Middle Earth over the years. I hope to see Norien, Andred, and the others again someday! I suspect that Aragorn and Arwen remembered Tiresse when they cared for those poisoned babies in Harad. I doubt that Tiresse will change, I think she is a sociopath. Take care, and as always may the muses (and plot bunnies!) be with you! :)

Author Reply: Thanks so, Teresa. No, I doubt Tiresse will ever change. Thanks so!

I loved the poem.

What a wonderful ending! I love the idea of the Mallorn trees as a means of communication between the Travellers. On days like this day, distance and time does not matter - only the joy to be together again.

Andred felt certain that there was the ghost of a smile on the distant Ringbearer’s face at Captain Peregrin’s naming of their beloved King

Can it be that the Ringbearer's face is mirroring Andred's feelings? That is fascinating!

And I very much liked the poem Pippin wrote about Sarn Gebir - especially the last passage.

Wonderful. I loved it.

That was a great chapter!

And I agree with another reviewer that Norien's case turned out to be more intriguing than Andred's. What was revealed step by step about the true character of her sister was almost incredible. And her husband is willing to give her another chance, although she tried to kill him, too?
Well, I wish him all the luck he can get.

I always enjoy your stories, and this one was a standout.
I only intended to read the first chapter as a prelude to bed-time
but one led to two and then just one more until it is 6AM and I have spent the
spent the whole night reading your wonderfully crafted story.
Thank you

Those two stories were very interesting and very different.

I wonder where the ring is, though. I am not so sure that it remained in Maridorn's possession. I would not be surprised if its new "owner" was Cotsedain.

Gorgeous, wonderful story. I love all of your work, but my favorites are always the ones set after the war. Just the way you flesh out the community with believable OCs and of course the characters we already know and love. Always so consistently well-written it feels utterly canonical, and frankly sticks in my brain that way. Thank you once again for the amazing work!
