Great pace and tone. I like this remote, detached description.

Author Reply: Thank you! I don't know if I could repeat this style, but it's the way the words flowed. I wasn't sure if anyone would really want to read it, but posted anyway. Thank you for your kind words.

*Shudder* Wow...this evoked strong images in my mind, I could see it all...*shudders, again*

Powerful, very powerful Rhyselle. Very good...very scary!!!

Author Reply: I wasn't sure how this would be taken. It was very odd to write, as I normally don't write in this style. Very creepy and I was glad to get it scribbled out and out of my head!

This is very nice, a great thought on Easter. Thank you!

Author Reply: Thank you very much for reading and reviewing. I don't normally do drabble type fics, but this and its partner ficlet came forth and demanded to be written. And it's all because of Alassiel and Fiondil and their inspiration. :)

Yes! Glad to see this here, too! Alleluia!

Author Reply: Thank you! Alleluia!

It must have been hard for all of the Valar not to want to be in His arms, during the entire time that He spent in Mandos. I can just see Lord Namo standing there, wanting to throw himself into an embrace, but not wanting to presume. Of course, Eru Illuvatar knew this... and I just can't see Him leaving without holding the child of His thought.

FiondilReviewed Chapter: 3 on 3/22/2008
And just what is it that Namo is now to do, we wonder? And the idea that he gets to feel the One's arms around him for real is really neat. A very lovely image that we can all take with us in the hope that someday the same will happen to us. Hristo orortie! E orortiesŁĄChrist is risen! He is indeed risen!] Happy Easter!

Author Reply: If Lord Namo ever tells me his task, you'll be the first person I tell it to! :)

The thought of being in the arms of the One... *reverent shiver* You were the first person I ever mentioned "seeing" this scene to, and I'm so very glad that I was finally granted the words so that you and others could "see" it too.

FiondilReviewed Chapter: 2 on 3/22/2008
Right up to the very end I was wondering just who was lying on the couch. A lovely Easter surprise! And it would be interesting to see more of His time in Mandos before returning to Jerusalem. Thank you for sharing this and I'm glad you took my suggestions when you let me beta this earlier.

Author Reply: I really appreciate your beta-ing this for me. And I thank you for letting me play in you Valar-verse. This never would have been written had I not found your fics and fallen in love with them. That we have developed the friendship we have because of this is a great gift. Thank you for the friendship and inspiration. And may you be blessed this Easter Day and all others.

You have used all the best words. An absolutely beautiful moment. To think of the Halls of the Dead (where he spent those 3 days) - so richly blessed. For those who were there at the time to actually see Him.

For the Valar to finally 'feel' the touch of Eru......

*SHIVERS*

Author Reply: Oh, yes! *reverent shiver*

And, of course, He would visit the Eldar as well as the Edain, for both are His Children.

Agape4GondorReviewed Chapter: 2 on 3/22/2008
OH MY!

Author Reply: *blush, shuffle feet* Thank you.

Agape4GondorReviewed Chapter: 1 on 3/22/2008
dreams 'quickly forgotten'
'no longer having to struggle through the fume and fug of Mordor's making'
'seemed too soft'... 'sleeping rough'

This line killed me - 'along with his beloved, lost Rangers'

'never again to waken in darkness'

I am so glad there was a happy ending for Faramir - I'm so glad Tolkien gave him Eowyn......

The Irish in me is making me step aside for a bit and sob over the loss - I'll pick up a beer in a moment or two and raise it in joy, but I need to sob for a moment.....

Author Reply: I understand exactly what you mean. Even though Faramir was granted joy and honour for his sacrifices, the fact remains that he lost EVERYTHING... his parents, his brother, his Rangers. And I think that this is why he will never, ever take things such as love and light, his wife, his king, his principality and the loyalty of Beregond, and ever so many other things for granted for the rest of his time on Arda. Thanks for reviewing!

Kaylee Tonks-LupinReviewed Chapter: 3 on 3/22/2008
YAY!!!! You posted all of it! *Rejoices* He is Risen...He is Risen indeed and I am *definitely* glad for that!

*Big hugs*

~Kaylee!

Author Reply: Well, it wouldn't exist yet if you hadn't triggered my muse into getting back to work. :) Thanks!
